Deeply honoured to receive the Malaysia Woman Leader 2026 Award & recognition at the World Women Leadership Congress & Awards 2026 conferred by World HRD Congress & CHRO Asia.

To be recognised among women who are shaping industries, challenging norms, leading change, and creating space for others to rise… feels profoundly humbling.

The truth is, leadership is rarely glamorous behind the scenes.
It is carrying pressure gracefully.
Making difficult decisions when no one sees.
Starting over when life cracks you open.
Standing tall in rooms that were not always built for you.
And still choosing kindness, empathy, courage, and conviction.
What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that I’ve just returned from conquering Everest Base Camp🗻. Life is extraordinary that way.
One moment, the mountain tests your spirit.
The next, life quietly reminds you how far you’ve climbed.

This recognition belongs to every chapter that tested me before it shaped me.
To every woman rebuilding herself quietly while still showing up for others.
And to every daughter watching her mother refuse to shrink 😉😇.

Here’s to leading with intellect, humanity, depth, and heart.
Not just to occupy seats at the table, but to redesign the table itself. ✨

Standing at Everest Base Camp, there was no grand epiphany. Just a quiet knowing.
〽️Humility is not optional- the mountain has a way of reminding you - gentle or otherwise, that you are not in control of everything. And that is not weakness. It is perspective.
〽️That the hardest journeys are often internal.
〽️That resilience is deeply personal.
〽️And that the strongest people are not always the loudest….they are the ones who simply refuse to give up.
So here’s a thought for leaders and organisations:

➡️ If we truly want to build resilient cultures, we need to look beyond resumes!
➡️ Look for climbers 🧗
➡️ Look for the ones who have faced storms.
➡️ The ones who have kept walking (with blisters and wobbly knees) when turning back would have been easier.
Because when the blizzards come-and they always do … those are the people who will carry the team and the organization forward.
AND THEY WON’T NEED PERFECT CONDITIONS TO DO IT.

As Tenzing Norgay said “It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves”.

What a humbling experience! So grateful on many counts.

Why ESG Must Be Experienced, Not Explained.......
Six months ago, this was just a thought 💬
A question that kept returning to me; "Why does ESG feel so heavy for corporates, when it is ultimately about people, choices and consequences"?
What if ESG could be experienced instead of explained?
What if people could feel the tension between growth and sustainability, resources and responsibility, short-term wins and long-term impact?
So we started building ⚙️ 🏗️
With a small team of ESG enthusiasts who share the same belief that ESG should be relatable, human and real. We sat around tables like this one, sketching ideas, arguing passionately, moving pieces, testing logic, failing fast, redesigning again.
And slowly, something began to take shape.
An ESG board game inspired by Monopoly, built around biomes, resources, trade-offs, development, disasters, recovery and collective decision-making. A space where energy runs out, money tempts, social impact matters, and every decision leaves a footprint.
Today, we are almost 80% there.
Seeing this come to life fills me with deep joy. Not because it is a game, but because of what it represents. A way for leaders and teams to internalize ESG instead of memorizing frameworks. To understand sustainability not as compliance, but as consequence.
ESG does not have to feel dreadful.
🟢 It can be engaging.
🟢 It can be practical.
🟢 It can even be fun.
As an ESG facilitator, I take immense pride in this work. I believe learning should be felt in the body, not just heard in a room. When people play, reflect and debate together, mindset shifts happen naturally.
This feels important. And very needed.
Grateful to be pouring passion into labour that truly matters.
Excited for what’s coming next.
If ESG is the future of business, then how we teach it must evolve too.

Did you know that 15–20% of the global population is neurodivergent, yet less than 4% of organisations feel fully equipped to hire, empower & lead them?
That’s not a talent shortage.
That’s an untapped brilliance problem.

Last week in Bangkok, I had the privilege of facilitating “Leadership From the Inside Out: Neurodivergent at Work” for the core leadership team at Danone.
A room full of busy, seasoned leaders willing to pause, unlearn, feel & listen beneath the surface.

And something shifted. The exercises hit differently.
Our cognitive simulations, lived-experience stories, and role-based neurotype decoding sparked a level of curiosity and empathy that can’t be manufactured.
The room felt the “invisible load” so many neurodivergent employees carry.
They understood - not intellectually, but emotionally…..why good talent slips through the cracks when systems are built for only one kind of mind.

The feedback that followed was deeply encouraging:
“Eye-opening.”
“Every leader should go through this.”
“I’ll never look at behaviour the same way again.”
“This changed how I see my team.”

This is why I do this work.
Because neurodiversity isn’t a hiring trend. It’s a leadership competency.
It’s the difference between losing extraordinary thinkers… and unlocking genius hiding in plain sight.

If your organisation is thinking about hiring neurodivergent talent or simply wants to be employer-ready, this is the moment to start.
A 2-hour session can transform a leader’s lens.
A mindset shift can transform a culture.
And a culture shift can transform performance.

There is so much brilliance waiting to be seen, supported & celebrated.

Different minds don’t need fixing.
They need understanding.
And when we understand them,
we don’t just create inclusion.
We create innovation. 🫶🏼🙌🏼💡

Why Relationship Intelligence Matters at Work?
🔹 65% of performance issues stem from relationship breakdowns between employees and leaders (Harvard Business Review)
What if your next leadership breakthrough began with understanding how you love (see this as an emotion), listen, and respond?
We talk so much about leadership intelligence, but rarely about relationship intelligence......and yet, both define how we show up at work and in life.
This November, I’ll be facilitating Mojo Rising: Love, Relationships, Intimacy & Everything In Between - a 3-day immersive retreat in Kerala, India, designed for those who want to deepen connection - not just romantically, but across all relationships: with teams, peers, families, and self.
Throughout the retreat, we’ll explore:
💛 Love Languages at Work and Beyond - How understanding different emotional currencies improves collaboration and motivation.
💬 The Four Horsemen (from the Gottman Institute) - The four communication habits that silently destroy trust in both workplaces and relationships, and what to do instead.
🪞 The Art of Feedback - Inspired by the Johari Window; how radical honesty and empathy build high-performing, psychologically safe teams.
🌑 Shadow Work (Carl Jung) - Inner healing that helps you understand projections, blind spots, and triggers that shape how you lead and love.
🎴 Esther Perel’s Game of Stories - Storytelling that builds vulnerability, connection, and emotional literacy at work and home.
🌸 Jillian Tureckis - ‘It Begins With You’ - How emotional accountability becomes the foundation for trust and growth.
Why this matters for professionals:
Leadership is relational. The better you understand human behavior, your own and others’ - the better you lead, negotiate, communicate, and connect.
This retreat is NOT a couples’ retreat. It’s a space for self-awareness, communication mastery, and inner reset .... for men and women who want to lead and live from a place of alignment.

"The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it." - Robert Swan

During my trek to Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks, I was struck by the impact of human activity on even the most remote landscapes. The melting glaciers and signs of environmental degradation highlighted the crucial need for personal sustainability alongside corporate responsibility.

Just as mountaineering requires preparation, endurance, and adaptability, so does the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in our workplaces.
HR leaders play a vital role in driving this change, shaping organizational cultures that prioritize purpose alongside profitability. Embracing sustainability is not just a choice; it's a necessity for a better future for our planet.
Why ESG in HR Matters?
🌿 Environmental Responsibility – Companies with strong ESG practices are 2.5 times more likely to be high-performing (McKinsey). Sustainable policies, from remote work to green offices, impact employee engagement and company reputation.
👥 Social Impact – A study by LinkedIn found that 76% of job seekers prefer companies with strong diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. ESG is the key to attracting and retaining top talent.
📊 Governance & Ethics – Ethical leadership builds trust. Companies with strong governance practices outperform their peers by 15% in long-term profitability (Harvard Business Review).
Introducing "ESG Mastery for Human Resource Practitioner and Teams.
My ESG Mastery for HR: Building and Integrating ESG for a Sustainable & Inclusive Workplace program is designed to help HR professionals:
✅ Embed ESG into HR strategies—from hiring and engagement to leadership development.
✅ Develop sustainability roadmaps that align with business goals.
✅ Measure and report ESG impact to ensure transparency and accountability.
✅ Foster an inclusive, values-driven culture that resonates with employees and stakeholders.
💡 The Wake-Up Call: Just as I realized on my trek that we cannot take nature for granted, businesses must acknowledge that sustainability is not an afterthought - it’s a competitive advantage.
