We are truly honoured to share that our Founder & Director, LAr. Juita Wan Hashim , has been selected as one of the 100 Wanita Inspirasi Nasional 2026 (WIN 2026) — a national recognition celebrating inspiring Malaysian women for their achievements, leadership and contributions.
The initiative brings together inspiring Malaysian women from diverse sectors and walks of life, including leaders in government, business, academia, professional practice, community development, and the creative industries. Their profiles were evaluated by a panel from Lincoln University, with the publication preserved in university libraries, archives and the National Library of Malaysia as a lasting record of their achievements and contributions.
This recognition is a meaningful milestone not only for LAr. Juita Wan Hashim personally, but also for Verona Design Sdn. Bhd. It reflects her journey as a woman entrepreneur and professional in the landscape architecture and construction industry, and her commitment to growing with purpose, leading with integrity and contributing meaningfully to the industry.

Graduan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Senibina Landskap UTM tahun 2005 ini telah membina kerjaya cemerlang dalam bidang seni bina landskap dan reka bentuk bandar, selain menerima pelbagai pengiktirafan profesional termasuk Anugerah Arkitek Landskap Muda ILAM 2016 dan Emerging Landscape Architect Award, MLAA14 2024.

Pengiktirafan ini bukan sahaja meraikan pencapaian beliau sebagai profesional dan usahawan wanita, malah mencerminkan bagaimana alumni UTM terus membawa nama alma mater melalui kepimpinan, kepakaran dan sumbangan yang memberi impak kepada industri serta masyarakat.

Kaleidoscope of Triagonal is more than just a design language — it is a living framework that redefines multi-generational landscapes. Drawing inspiration from the dynamic repetition of triagonal forms, the landscape concept transforms Elmina Grove into an interactive environment where every angle reveals new possibilities, experiences, and connection.

The landscape elements unfolds as a series of triagonal landscape elements and pocket spaces, designed to break monotony and create moments of surprise. This triangular forms act as spatial catalysts—activating movement, expanding perception, and enriching user experience. The concept elevates the allure of the landscape by establishing a clear spatial framework that enhances organization and fluidity. Through the repetition of triangular forms, the design introduces a rhythmic cadence that brings order while maintaining a sense of playfulness.

This geometric coherence symbolizes unity within diversity, where varied spaces and experiences are seamlessly integrated into a cohesive and engaging landscape composition.The use of triangular forms adds visual interest and makes compact spaces feel larger, while efficiently accommodating greenery, communal areas, and multi-generational facilities. It creates a layered spatial experience, where open lawns, activity zones, and intimate retreat spaces emerge naturally from the composition. As users move through the site, the landscape continuously reveals moments of surprise and discovery, encouraging exploration and prolonged engagement with the outdoor environment.

Mahogany Residences was honoured with the Merit Award in the Professional Category (Landscape Design Awards) at the Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards (MLAA) 2026.

Despite a modest landscape budget of RM1.5 million and limited podium spaces, the design embraces its greatest asset—the adjacent 800-acre forest reserve. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Shakkei (Borrowed Scenery), the surrounding forest is intentionally integrated into the overall landscape experience, creating the perception of a much larger, more immersive environment.

Rather than relying solely on built landscape elements, the design frames and captures views of the forest reserve, seamlessly extending the visual boundaries of the development. By incorporating natural features beyond the project site, the landscape achieves a layered, multidimensional spatial experience while fostering a strong connection between residents and nature.

This approach demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform site constraints into opportunities, delivering a timeless landscape that maximizes its context, enhances biodiversity, and creates a meaningful sense of place.

This two-years program is designed to support and strengthen Bumiputera vendors by enhancing capabilities and preparing businesses to grow within the broader development ecosystem.
