Whenever I watch a cooking video, I see so many people like to ask if they can add this, minus that... bla bla bla... trying to modify what has been shown. If Uncle Eric' is making a video like that, I will just answer them: YES, you can add this, minus that, do whatever makes you happy, just don't call it my recipe. Simple as that! Uncle Eric's Cooking was featured in the Sin Chew Daily Northern Malaysia edition again yesterday!

Uncle Eric's 4 course Thanksgiving Dinner.

Appetizer:
Assortment of crackers and cream cheese topped with salmon, tuna, avocado & black olive and bruschetta

Soup
Homemade pumpkin soup sprinkled with cinnamon, parsley and sour cream, served with bread & butter.

Main
Roast chicken with special wine gravy, boiled broccoli, grilled capsicum and mashed potatoes.

Dessert
Uncle Eric's famous mixed nuts mooncake served with vanilla ice cream topped with salted caramel and chocolate syrup.

Easy-to-Make Egg Muffin Recipe

Ingredients:

- 2 eggs

- 2 sausages

- 6 strips of ham/bacon

- A few raisins

- A little butter

- A little shredded cheese (Cheddar cheese)

- 1 tortilla wrap

Instructions:

1) Cut the tortilla wrap into strips. Layer with ham or bacon strips (lightly grilled), roll into a spiral, and place in a buttered muffin mold.

2) Place sausage slices in the center. Pour in the beaten eggs, leaving about 10 ml of space so the egg mixture doesn't overflow when the muffin rises.

3) Sprinkle with shredded cheese and raisins.

4) Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.

Uncle Eric's Cooking for five lovely ladies tonite. They ordered in advance for my home-cooked dinner and came to my house with their own bottles. They chit-chatted in my cosy living room while I was preparing their dinner. Then they proceeded to the dining table when the dinner was served.

- Spring rolls

Main:
- Braised pork ribs with fermented beans
- Steamed white snapper Chinese style
- Homemade seafood toufu with broccoli
- Bitter gourd prawn scrambled egg
- Thai green curry chicken

Dessert:
- Mango pudding

My new Eric's Homestay is now open for home-cooked meals.

You can have a romantic dinner for two or a group of friends or family, up to the maximum of 8 persons. You can choose dining outdoors or indoors.

Specially catered menu
Let me know what you would like to eat in advance and I will prepare any dishes from Chinese, Malay, Indian, Thai, BBQ, Steamboat to Western meals.

No idea of what to eat?
You can scroll through some of the previous cooking that I have posted on this page. Even with new dishes, if I know it, I can cook it.

RM20-30 per person onwards
* Minimum 2 persons
* Maximum 8 persons

Preferably one day in advance

Feeling lucky?
I know some of you will want to try your luck at the last minute. Yes, you can call to check if I am around and if I am feeling up to it. You may be lucky if I have something inside my fridge or my homegrown garden that I can create wonders. Give me at least 2-3 hours to prepare, but please DO NOT gate crash!
