ISRAEL GOES ON TRIAL AT WORLD COURT

Israel is facing a trial at the United Nations' International Court of Justice (ICJ) , accused of committing genocide against the Palestinian people.
This follows a lawsuit filed by South Africa on Dec 29, 2023 ; which is also asking the ICJ to issue provisional measures, including ordering Israel to halt its military campaign in Gaza.
The case opens today (Thursday, Jan 11).
Israel has already claimed the case as "atrocious and preposterous".
Palestine has been in a state of near-perpetual war for decades, with Israel receiving billions of dollars a year in aid and weapons as well as political support from the United States, United Kingdom,, Canada and other Western regimes, to bully the Palestinians.
The Israeli current Zionist offensive was sparked by a surprise attack on Oct 7 , 2023 l, by Palestinian groups defending the sovereignty of their Religion, People and Motherland (Agama, Bangsa dan Tanahair).
The attacks left about 2,400 dead and more than 200 others taken as hostages.

Geneva-based Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said Israel ....as a form of retaliation and collecticlve punishment against the Palestinians....has deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure in order to cause as many casualties, material losses, and destruction as possible.
Euro-Med warned the death toll of Israel’s gory genocide in the Gaza Strip has now climbed to about 30,000 victims.
The majority of those killed in Israeli air and artillery attacks were civilians, including more than 11,400 children and over 5,800 women.
Aside that, more than 56,100 Palestinians have been injured, with hundreds critically wounded.
This includes victims who are still stuck under the rubble of buildings, while hundreds more remain uncounted, but are likely either trapped or injured in the streets.
Euro-Med estimates also indicate that nearly two million people have been displaced without a safe shelter amid inhumane conditions.
According to the rights group, 65,600 housing units have been completely destroyed by the ongoing Israeli attacks, while 177,200 others have been partially damaged.
Israel has also continued to cause massive destruction and severe damage to vital infrastructure facilities in the Gaza Strip, targeting 305 schools, 1,541 industrial facilities, and 135 health facilities, including 23 hospitals, 56 clinics, 55 ambulances, 183 mosques and three churches, in addition to 165 press offices.
The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate has documented the deaths of at least 102 journalists in Gaza since Oct 7.

The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and their Western allies, as well as some of their NGOs and so-called law and genocide scholars have rejected the assertion that Israel is engaging in genocides.
Malaysia is among countries supporting South Africa's case . The others include Bangladesh, Bolivia, Jordan,The Maldives, Namibia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Palestine, Turkey and Venezuela.
India and Singapore, which are Israel- friendly, have chosen to stay away.
Al Jazeera and local media are reporting widespread Israeli raids across the occupied West Bank , including in the cities of Jericho, Qalqilya and el-Bireh.
Raids have also been reported in the following locations:
The towns of Azzun and Jayyous, east of Qalqilya
The town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah
The towns of Beita and Qaryut, south of Nablus
The town of al-Samu, south of Hebron
The town of Yabad, southwest of Jenin
The village of Jalboun, east of Jenin.
The Israelis have reportedly said that no matter who takes over control in Gaza...whatever Palestinian entity it is...whatever it looks like...they (Israel) should still have some sort of security and military control in Gaza.
This, of course, is rejected by the Palestinians as not something they want to see.
In Syaa Allah...the Palestinians will be free from more murders, destruction and acts of ethnic cleansing when the case against the Israeli Zionis regime ends tomorrow.
