Last week on 16 October 2026, our Project Manager, Ts. Benson Koh, was invited by Taylor's College to share his industry experience with Foundation in Science students through a talk titled โBeyond the Lab Coat: Building a Career in Regenerative Medicine.โ
Regenerative medicine extends far beyond the laboratory. While scientific knowledge forms the foundation, translating discoveries into real-world applications requires expertise across research, development, quality assurance, manufacturing, and project management.
Through this session, students had the opportunity to explore the diverse career pathways within regenerative medicine and gain a better understanding of how different disciplines contribute to advancing the field.
For aspiring science professionals, understanding the industry is just as important as understanding the science itself. As regenerative medicine continues to evolve, so do the opportunities to pursue meaningful careers beyond traditional laboratory roles.
