The Greatest Night of Lord Siva
Mahasivarathri is the most sacred and powerful spiritual night dedicated to Lord Siva — the Supreme Consciousness. On this auspicious night, there is a tremendous and subtle flow of cosmic energy from the Universe toward Mother Earth. The sages realized that when one sits upright, with awareness and devotion, this divine energy ascends through the spine and enters through the Sahasrara Chakra, awakening higher consciousness.
This sacred influx of energy has the potential to transform one's karmic patterns, purify the mind, and elevate the soul — especially when observed with sincerity, devotion, meditation, and prayer. By keeping vigil throughout the night, you become receptive to this divine vibration. Every single cell in your body begins to resonate with the eternal Panchakshara Mantra — Om Namasivaya.
Within this sacred mantra are contained the Pancha Bhutas — the five primordial elements:
Earth (Prithvi), Water (Apas), Fire (Agni), Air (Vayu), and Space (Akasha).
These five elements constitute not only the Universe but also our physical and subtle existence. Chanting Om Namasivaya harmonizes these elements within us, bringing balance, healing, and inner awakening.

Venue: Sri Gnanananda Puram Ashram,Teluk Intan, Perak, from morning 8am to 5.30pm. It is a one day program which includes Darpanam,abisegam for Hanuman and Sivalingam, talk on spirituality by 4 speakers, singing Bhajan and Devaram, and finally abisegam for 12 Jothi Lingam.Everyone is able to do abisegam, male and female included and strictly Hindu Clothing, men with vesthi and woman with saree or Punjabi suit with Dupatta
