“Mycor” – “rhiza” literally means “fungus” – “root”.
These specialized fungi colonize plant roots and extend far into the soil, hence are more effective in nutrient and water absorption than the roots themselves.

(in the picture) The white roots are NOT roots but Mycorrizal fungi threads (mycelium) that attach to the plant roots. The actual roots are brown in colour.

Intensive planting is not the ultimate solution to conserve & preserve the environment.
More trees planting and therefore more fertilizers required leading to larger-scale mining, hence doesn't help in preventing global warming.
We live on the same Mother Earth, please take good care of our planet, and SAY NO to chemical fertilizer!

This traditional farming technique of "Slash & Burn" is still a common practice in Asia, it has been using in deforestation and paddy field planting for centuries.
