Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) telah melonjak ke kedudukan ke-101 dalam penarafan Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2024 berbanding kedudukan ke-149 tahun lepas dengan kenaikan 48 tangga dan merupakan kedudukan terbaik semenjak 2016.

Post WW2 , Japanese factories hired young adults in their companies where they work in the morning and have classes in the evening. Solving problems of shortage of labour and upskilling them at the same time.

I used to work in my parents restaurant from 5 years old. And as years moved on I realised that I worked harder on Labour Day as most of people were on leave. Made me wonder why should I work harder on the day we were suppose to be on leave.

Nevertheless I never dared to bring to my supervisor’s@my father attention. I just mumbled away.

ps: grievance is not in practice in the 70’s , 80’s , 90’s or ever in my parent’s business 🤣

Today morning I had another opportunity of giving back to my another Alma Mater Cochrane Road School . Even the school is no more physically there, there spirit lives on the new grounds. Thank you bro Faizal Mohammad Arshad for inviting me.
