✅Firstly, choose a waterproofing material that is durable, waterproof and UV (ultraviolet) resistant.
✅Secondly, you need to know is what is a waterproof system, waterproof system composed of waterproof materials and a system, instead of just buying a waterproof paint and applying it. (Many people think that there will be no more water leakage after they paint some waterproofing paint. As a result, they must prepare a budget annually to solve their water leakage problem.)

There are few materials you can get easily in the hardware store or others in the market:
❌ACRYLIC: can resist UV, but weak on ponding water (suitable for use on the wall)
❌PU Hybrid: the so-called hybrid, as the name indicates, mixture of PU (Polyurethane) with others substance, the mixing ratio might be more acrylic and only a little portion of PU, so it is easy to be misunderstood as a pure PU.
❌Torch on membrane: bitumen itself has no anti-UV properties, so the surface of the membrane is now upgraded to have mineral slates, the mineral slates act as a layer of cement screed protective layer for the bitumen, it is not a long-term waterproof system and cannot be repaired by yourself in the future, it is more suitable for concealed area(unaffected by UV) for example foundations, planter box or undertiles.
❌Epoxy flooring : the coating you often see in the basement parking lot, their properties are very strong abrasion resistant, weakness: cannot withstand UV, otherwise it will turn yellow and then brittle and peel off.

❌Expoxy flooring：性质，你们所常见在停车场内 所见的涂层，作用是非常强的摩擦力，弱点：不能承受UV,不然会变黄 然后脆化剥落。
