Berdasarkan Akta Keselamatan Sosial Pekerja 1969, skim perlindungan ini adalah MANDATORI bagi semua pekerja asing, manakala statusnya adalah SUKARELA bagi pekerja tempatan.
⚠️ AMARAN / WARNING KEPADA MAJIKAN:
Bagi pekerja tempatan yang memilih untuk TIDAK MENYERTAI skim ini, anda sebagai majikan WAJIB melengkapkan Notis Pelepasan Liabiliti (Borang Pilihan). Jika tiada sebarang notis dihantar, penyertaan pekerja tempatan akan DIAKTIFKAN SECARA AUTOMATIK sebagai "MENYERTAI".
Jika pekerja tempatan tidak menyertai dan notis tidak dihantar dengan betul, mereka TIDAK AKAN MENERIMA sebarang faedah daripada Skim LINDUNG 24 Jam sekiranya berlaku sebarang perkara yang tidak diingini.

Please be informed that effective June 2026, a new SOCSO contribution will be imposed under the employee contribution scheme.

Currently, the employee contribution rate is 0.5%. Beginning June 2026, an additional 0.75% will be deducted from employees’ salaries. A total of 1.25%.

This adjustment is due to the introduction of SOCSO’s new Non-Workplace Accident Insurance Scheme, which has been made mandatory for all employees.

The implementation will be carried out in 3 phases, with the first phase starting in June 2026. Companies who do not comply will be taken legal action and subject to late fee fines.
