This Merdeka, Malaysia does not just adopt technology. We build it.

Sixty-nine years since independence, and the story of Malaysian capability continues to evolve. From the paddy fields that have fed generations to the skies above them, local engineering is stepping into roles once reserved for imported solutions.

The Mist Tec 50 is one of those markers. Designed, built, and tested in Malaysia by Aonic, it is the country's first fully locally engineered 50-litre agricultural drone. Every component specification, every flight test, every iteration was shaped here.

This is what Merdeka looks like in 2026. Not just the freedom to choose, but the capability to create.

Robotics is moving beyond movement.

The next question is: what can it actually do in real operations?

Propels: Robotics in Action brings DEEP Robotics quadrupeds to Aonic Subang Jaya, offering a closer look at how robotics can support real-world use cases — from inspection and monitoring to deployment in challenging environments.

At the event, you’ll be able to see the DEEP Robotics lineup up close, understand how the different platforms compare, and explore where each one fits in practical applications.

For the first time, we’ll also be sharing a public preview of Aonic’s unified command platform — showing how quadruped operations can be managed with greater visibility, coordination, and control.

Aonic is heading to Sabah for two back-to-back agriculture events at SICC, Kota Kinabalu, bringing our solutions closer to the people shaping the future of agriculture and plantation management.

On 20 August 2026, we will be at the Borneo Forestry Cooperative (BFC) Conference joining industry stakeholders in the conversation around designing more sustainable industrial tree plantation systems and landscapes.

From 21 to 23 August 2026, we continue at Sabah Agro Expo (SAEX) 2026, where you can find us at Booth 239 and get a closer look at our agricultural technology and solutions.

At Aonic, our role in agriculture goes beyond supplying technology.
