Different industries. One question.
Aonic Propels: Robotics in Action brought industry key players together at our Aonic Hub in Subang Jaya and nearly everyone left thinking about the same thing, how quadruped robots could fit into their own operations. They came to see the robots up close. They stayed to work out where the technology actually belongs. Which parts of a site are hardest to cover. What patrol looks like after hours. Where sending a person in is slow, awkward or simply unnecessary.
Across warehousing, facilities, utilities and critical infrastructure, the questions were different in detail but the same in substance.
We also used the day to introduce Aonic Arc, a glimpse of what we're building towards for real-world robotics applications. Because a robot on its own is a demonstration. A robot connected into how your site is monitored and secured is an operation.
That's the idea Aonic Arc is built around, security and monitoring across a site, with ground robotics as part of how the day actually runs.

Aonic is bringing DEEP Robotics to WAIC Connect Malaysia 2026, as we continue building our capabilities around robotics, physical AI and intelligent systems for real-world operations.

For Aonic, robotics is not just about introducing new hardware. It is about understanding how these technologies can be applied meaningfully across industries supporting inspection, monitoring, data collection and operations in environments that may be repetitive, difficult or challenging for people to access.

This Merdeka, Malaysia does not just adopt technology. We build it.

Sixty-nine years since independence, and the story of Malaysian capability continues to evolve. From the paddy fields that have fed generations to the skies above them, local engineering is stepping into roles once reserved for imported solutions.

The Mist Tec 50 is one of those markers. Designed, built, and tested in Malaysia by Aonic, it is the country's first fully locally engineered 50-litre agricultural drone. Every component specification, every flight test, every iteration was shaped here.

Aonic is heading to Sabah for two back-to-back agriculture events at SICC, Kota Kinabalu, bringing our solutions closer to the people shaping the future of agriculture and plantation management.

On 20 August 2026, we will be at the Borneo Forestry Cooperative (BFC) Conference joining industry stakeholders in the conversation around designing more sustainable industrial tree plantation systems and landscapes.
