PROGRESS UPDATE | SK AWANA QUICK WIN PROJECT

Site preparation works are progressing steadily, with setting-out, ground levelling and crusher run placement currently underway.

The foundation platform is being carefully prepared and compacted to provide a stable base before the next stage of structural works begins. Our team remains committed to maintaining proper workmanship, site safety and quality control throughout every phase of construction.

Another important step forward in delivering a better and more conducive learning environment for the school community.

PROJECT COMPLETED | JALAN LADANG, MERBOK

Alhamdulillah, another successful milestone achieved! The upgrading works for Jalan Ladang, Merbok have been successfully completed.

From site preparation and road formation to crusher run placement and compaction, the works were carried out to provide safer and better access for the surrounding agricultural area.

Thank you to everyone involved for the strong teamwork and commitment throughout the project.

One site completed — moving forward to the next location soon!

🚧 Project Progress Update | Silicon Island MA04B

Ground compaction works are currently being carried out at the Food Court area as part of the preparation for the upcoming structural works.

This process provides a stable and properly compacted base before proceeding with the next stage of construction.

Project Update | SK Taman Awana, Kota Setar Setting Out

Today, our team successfully carried out the Setting Out Works together with JKR, the Client, and the Consultant for the proposed 3 Additional Classroom Building.

This marks the beginning of construction, ensuring the building layout and positioning are accurately established before foundation works commence.

A small artwork. A lasting experience.

Alhamdulillah, the Heritage 3D Floor Mural at Lebuh Buckingham, George Town is now completed and ready to welcome visitors.

Inspired by Penang's rich cultural heritage, this interactive artwork transforms a simple walkway into a unique photo experience for locals and tourists alike.

Proud to have contributed to another placemaking initiative that celebrates the stories, history and identity of our city.

# # # Site Activity: Water Level Verification

Water level verification works were carried out at the project site to obtain current water level readings within the drainage channel.

**Objectives:**
• Verify the existing water level conditions
• Assess the effectiveness of water flow within the drainage system
• Confirm the functionality of the completed drainage infrastructure
• Record monitoring data for technical evaluation and future reference

The collected data will be used to support ongoing monitoring and ensure the drainage system continues to perform as intended.

Meaningful moment for NYE Legacy today as ICU and Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) visited our newly almost complete 3D heritage floor mural at Lebuh Buckingham, opposite Masjid Kapitan Keling.

We are truly honoured to be part of this meaningful initiative to revitalise and beautify the heritage streets of George Town through public art and cultural storytelling.

As one of Penang’s first heritage-themed 3D floor murals, this artwork brings together elements of old trades, heritage values, and the multicultural spirit of Georgetown into an immersive street experience for both locals and visitors.

NYE Legacy is proud to contribute our creativity and craftsmanship in transforming public spaces into meaningful cultural attractions.
