Congratulate to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syahida Ahmad for her recognition by IIUM, Kuantan for being appointed as an invited speaker and facilitator in the Zebrafish Workshop 2022 on 15 November 2022.

The workshop is focused on Zebrafish Embryos Toxicity Test (ZFET) as one of the powerful tools in drug high-throughput and high content screenings.

Participants who attend the workshop are among staff and students from government and private institutions such as IIUM, IMR, UniKL and FRIM.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syahida Ahmad is currently doing her research attachment for 6 months at The University of Adelaide. She will working on CRISPR construct of human mutated genes related to dementia disorder among children using zebrafish as an animal model.

30th Intervarsity Biochemistry Seminar was held at University of Nottingham, Malaysia on 4th May 2019.
Congratulates to all biochem students from UPM who participate in the event especially to Thevaarannee who represent our research group on her Final Year Project entitled “Toxicity Effects of Copper on Zebrafish Embryo Development”.

Congratulations to Danio Assay Laboratories Sdn Bhd for successfully organised the 1st Zebrafish Workshop in year 2019 (ZFW2019) on 30th April 2019 at ITMA, UPM. The workshop was attended by 20 participants which majority were students and staf of ITMA. Other institutions who joining the workshop were from UPNM, USM (Penang) and UiTM (Shah Alam). 👍🏻💪🏻🐟
