And just like that, we wrapped up Day 2 with another hands-on and engaging day of learning! 💙

Today, our entrepreneurs learned to price with purpose, explored accounting digitalisation with ZohoBooks, and gained practical skills to manage their own books and management accounts with greater confidence.

We ended the program by developing a 12-month Sustainable Plan Map—turning what they learned into practical next steps for their enterprises. Lots of questions, discussions, sharing and "ohhh, now I understand!" moments throughout the day.

Thank you once again to all the amazing entrepreneurs from across Sabah for your energy and participation. It was a privilege for Kira Kira to be part of your journey towards building stronger, more financially sustainable social enterprises.

🌟 Finance Acumen Workshop for Sabah Social Enterprises – Day 1 🌟

Today was more than just a training session—it was a gathering of passionate entreprenuers from across Sabah, with participants travelling from as far as Kudat and Kunak to learn, share, and grow together.

A big thank you to the organisers for inviting Kira Kira to facilitate this important topic on financial acumen. It is always a privilege to contribute to the growth of Sabah's social enterprise ecosystem.

We spent the day exploring the Business Model Canvas, understanding how revenue, costs, and profit work together, and discussing how the Three-Fund Allocation Framework can help build more sustainable organisations. We also tackled one of the most important business questions: "Am I pricing my products and services correctly?"

By learning how to calculate costs accurately and apply practical pricing methods, participants gained valuable insights to help strengthen their enterprises and create long-term impact.

☕ Small Crowd, Big Impact.

Last week, we hosted our Internal Controls: Design, Implementation and Monitoring programme in our humble yet cosy training room at Kira Kira for a very important GLC in Sabah.

As the organisation continues to strengthen its governance framework, the course was designed to support its efforts in establishing a sound and effective internal control function.

It wasn't a large class—but sometimes the best learning happens in smaller groups. The discussions were richer, questions were answered in depth, and participants had the opportunity to share real challenges from their organisations.
