Orion Namibia The Orion Namibia Pension and Provident Funds is an umbrella fund, administered by Old Mutual Namibia. These bonuses are gross of investment charges.

OLD MUTUAL ABSOLUTE GROWTH PORTFOLIO (AGP) is a smoothed bonus portfolio and explicitly targets returns in excess of inflation over rolling 3-year periods, while significantly reducing the ups and downs associated with market-linked investments. The Absolute Stable Growth Portfolio also provides investors with a 50% capital guarantee. The returns are passed on to member’s accumulated credits via m

onthly bonuses that are declared in advance. INVESTMENT OPTION 1: MODERATE GROWTH
Smoothing strategy with capital guarantees - to cater for members who are not
comfortable with full exposure to the market and want to protect savings
against losses; an investment approach that is very unlikely to lose any capital value;
The investment vehicle is the Old Mutual AGP Smooth Growth 50%


INVESTMENT OPTION 2: HIGH GROWTH
Consists of a combination of market-linked portfolios and a smoothing portfolio to cater for members who want high exposure to growth assets. This strategy combines different asset managers for diversification benefits split as follows:
ALLAN GRAY NAMIBIA BALANCED FUND 30% of your fund credit
NAMIBIA ASSET MANAGERS BALANCED FUND 30% of your fund credit
AGP SMOOTH GROWTH 50% 40% of your fund credit

INVESTMENT OPTION 3: AGGRESSIVE GROWTH
Consists of a combination of market-linked portfolios only and exclude a smoothing portfolio. This strategy caters for members who want high exposure to growth assets and combines two selected asset managers for diversification with a 50%-50% split of your Fund Credit between the Allan Gray Global Balanced Fund and the Ninety-One Namibia Balanced Fund

Orion successfully hosted its 2026 Investment Workshops in Windhoek and Swakopmund on 17 and 19 March 2026.

These sessions form part of Orion’s ongoing commitment to enhancing Participating Employers’ understanding of the Fund’s investment strategies and philosophy. Participants gained valuable insights from Orion’s appointed asset managers, namely Allan Gray, Namibia Asset Management, Ninety One, Old Mutual Corporate Segment (OMCS) and Old Mutual Investment Group Namibia (OMIGNAM).

Following the success of these sessions, the Fund looks forward to hosting additional investment workshops in the northern and southern regions of Namibia, further strengthening Participating Employer's engagement and education.
