HONOUR A VIRTUE AND NOT A GIFT

God gave gifts to men but, honour wasn't & is not part of those gifts, honour is a virtue and not a gift. Virtue in its simple definition is a behaviour showing high moral standards. Or the quality of doing what is right & avoiding what is wrong.
Just by comprehending the above definition, you will realise that it is a behaviour one chooses to live by, maybe base on the information that he or she receives. Listen, don't start praying to God to give you the spirit of honour, there is no such thing my dear. Let me read Exodus 20:12 to you, "Honour your father & mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving to you". Just by doing what that portion of the bible said, you've honoured them already, and the blessings that follows such people you follow you immediately. This is how it works, when you see people & discern in your Spirit that this people deserves your honour, you go on & honour them. Honour I say again is a virtue & not a gift.

I have said this before, and I will say it again, the words "Thank You", are not just english that we taught our kids in school, and tell them to repeat after us, no! The words thank you, is a charm when sincerely spoken. Let me read this daily devotional to us ROR, widely known as Rhapsody Of Realities, 10th November 2020. The very first paragraph, and I read, the words Thank You, are two most powerful words to utter. The convey heartfelt appreciation & gratefulness which, when rightly expressed, leaves an indelible impression of your sincere gratitude & evoke joy in the hearts the recipient.
This was what the man of God, pastor Chris said in that year's Rhapsody of realities.

Listen, you this see thing we look at some great Men & come to the conclusion that they're graced, or he or she carries grace doesn't happens the way we think, there are attributes that brings the grace of God in a man's life, & one of such attribute is gratitude, your willingness to say thank you, no matter how low little what was done for you is.

Besides, nobody graduates from the school of honour, without knowing how to say thank you. Don't find it difficult to say thank to men, someone has been of great influence to your life over the years and you see such people & you start acting as though you can't see them, can't you be grateful for even once?
Finally, gratitude is an outward show, you can't be grateful without expressing it by saying thank you.

Any door that was opened before and today you can't gain access to such doors, listen dishonour closed it. Apostle Joshua Selman said to his congregation. Am not talking about house doors, relationships are doors, Favour is a door, when a certain kind help that was offered to you yesterday can't get to you again, check well dishonour might have closed such doors. There are little little things that most people thinks it doesn't matter, but these things goes a long way to deny them some certain opportunities in life, as a young person do you know how to say thank you, especially when things that men thinks is nothing is been given to you.

Listen well, because so many great men are now carrying this title Used to be great, what happened? Dishonor took him out of seat, when you understand this, you will never look down on anybody, because human beings are mobile, the person you dishonoured today, tomorrow might be the CEO of the company you you will applying for a job. Great men I say to you in the beginning of this series are not great by mistakes, so? If you see one honour him or her.

1 Peter 2:17
[17]Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. Submission to Masters.

When I read the above scripture I began to see while most men of God respect authority, especially government authorities, and some Christians who understood this when you see them reverence their pastors, men of God, you can mistake it as them worshipping their pastors.
If you understand this, you will never talk against men, wether a man of God or not, because by doing so you're as well showing a sign of disrespect to them. Some times you see a politician comes to church may be for one reason or the other, and here is the pastor of the church standing up as he comes to deliver a speech or he could bend in process of exchanging pleasantries, and you look at the pastor & conclude that he is looking for a way to obtain favour from the politician, it is you who don't understand the Principles Of Honour.
Here is a young guy after he graduated from school, he has been aspiring to be wealthy & influencial, and while walking down the neighbourhood suddenly he saw men riding on their G - wargon, Ferrari, Jargua etc. All this young guy was to call these people money ritualist, listen well, their are who slept under a bridge before getting to the top, men who passed through process, you don't just see such men & start calling them names, because these men deserves to be Honoured.

THE SEED OF ACCESS.
That's Honour as a seed to gain access.

Men don't just get opportunities, or gain access to realms, to levels by wishing, many got there just by their acts of love, some through their seeds, and some even honoured their way through. Listen to this story
2 Samuel 9:1
[1]Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” King David wanted to show kindness to Mephibosheth in Jonathan's Honour. If you read the verse 7 of this very book you will learnt that the kind gesture that David showed to Mephibosheth came as a result of the kindness Jonathan his father expressed towards him.
Listen dear, one special thing about seed is this, seeds don't die, if you sow seeds of love for sure you will reap love, you sow good seeds certainly you reap good, this was the case of Mephibosheth who was carried to the throne because of the seed of kindness his father sow in time past. He was Honoured as royalty, King David not minding he was crippled. Honour is one seed when you sow you're sure of a bountiful harvest.
Another definition of Honour is to show respect & recognition to men, this was one thing King David knew & practice even when it was obvious that the Glory of has left the house of Saul, listen well my dear reader, never you down play on the sacrifices of men just because you want to prove a point, no don't do that, a thousand times no!

On Monday we started out a new series of teaching which I titled THE PRINCIPLE OF HONOUR.

Their are men whose Life will never move from glory to glory not really because the enemy is on their matter, but because of what am about to teach us in this very new series. Say Honour. There are some certain grace that will never work in a man's life, until he learns how to honour his way through. Hmmmm.......... Grant Us Light Oh Lord.
You must get this because men don't just rise by mistake, there are systems, patterns structures, that has been build for the rising of men, of which one of it is Honour.

What then is Honour?

When I heard this very definition of Honour there was no doubt in my spirit of what Honour is. Listen well, according to apostle Joshua Selman he said and I quote

" Honour is the discerning, the celebrating or celebration and the rewarding of uniqueness of usefulness, of excellent". Is an asset that brings praise to an individual or group.
First it starts with discernment, when look at men & see God's grace upon their lives, you see men running with supernatural speed, don't just act as if or pretend that you are not seeing them. When you see men doing exploits in their chosen field, don't just conclude that they are lucky, because there is no such thing as luck on the road to success.

¶ It was from this very class that we learnt that most of these Media companies are been controlled by the so called deep states.

¶ They don't see like we do, so? The act differently.

¶ Who Are These Deep States? Group of persons With The intention of taking over the affairs of any nation, in most cases they are ones that sponsor candidate, And when he wins, he dances to their beat.

¶ Mind What You Listen to, not every news is worth giving your attention to.

¶ Are you aware that most Media companies are friends of the deep states. Is a fact my dear.

¶ And the told us it was all about covid 19, they know the truth, but they are not saying.

¶ And their so called new world order is to build a world, where they will control the minds of men.

¶ Watch & Pray my dear.

¶ I paused for a while and ask, how do we expect some media houses to tell us the truth, when they owners of these media houses are friends of the deep states. Now you get, right?

¶ What am sharing with you most people know, but they not saying. People in prison.

¶ And the social media of this world is not even helping matters

¶ They only told us what they want us to hear, not what we need to hear.

¶ Remember this war is not against the media, is against principalities & powers, rulers of darkness in high places, be on guard.

¶ Are you aware that their are so many lives we would have safe if all the media gave out the right information during the covid 19

¶ Yes! They were not friendly at all.

¶ Finally, the right information will always cause faith to rise, wrong information spark up fear. And ask the Media which information are you dispensing.
