9 NIGERIAN CLIENT CATEGORIES I HAVE ENCOUNTERED.

Which one have you survived?

1️⃣ The “Just Try Something” Client
No brief. No logo. No vision. Just vibes and pressure.

2️⃣ The “I Get One Design Like That” Guy
Sends you a blurry screenshot of a 2012 flyer as “inspiration.”

3️⃣ The “Make It Pop” Minister
Wants red, gold, purple, green—on a church flyer. All CAPS, no breathing space.

4️⃣ The “Is It Not Just Design?” Client
Wants a 12-page brochure, logo, mockups, and social media banners—for ₦5k. 😭

5️⃣ The “My Wife Said…” Boss
His wife becomes the new creative director halfway through the project.

6️⃣ The “I’m Not Feeling It” Client
No specific feedback. Just pure emotional damage.

7️⃣ The “God Will Reward You” Pastor
When you mention payment, he starts quoting Malachi 3:10. 🙏😂
8️⃣ The direct client who know what they want and givea you clear messages on how he or she would love it best
9️⃣. The client who makes one or two important observations and corrects , when this corrections are effected you see that the design becomes a lot better.
