QUESTIONS THAT SHAPE DESTINIES
One outstanding characteristics of great people is that they ask questions and seek explanation. In the world of greatness, assumption is fatal.
A man who clearly demonstrated the potency of questioning as a tool for transforming life is Myles Munroe. He was born in Bahamas, one of the poorest blacks occupied area.
Raised by a poor clergy father, he (Myles) with his ten siblings lived in a two bedrooms wooden house. He slept on the floor among rats and cockroaches.
He embrace reading of the Scriptures at an early age. His understanding of the scriptures introduced him to the love of God. The greatest question on his mind that defiled religious explanation was how can a just God bless others and be unjust in making others poor?
When his white man school teacher insulted him, calling him a black monkey, he felt humiliated and this aggravated his desire and understanding of God's justice.
Mr Munroe had his faith instilled from the knowledge of the gospel which cultivated a perspective of life that nothing is Impossible.
Soon, he could found the answer to his age long question in Ephesians 3:20 which stated " Now unto him that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us"
This changed Munroe's life literally. He descovered that the power is not in his teacher, government or external force but lives in him.
With this understanding, he got to the driver's seat of his life and began to prosper. He went to University and obtained three bachelor degrees, a Master degree and five Doctorates in different Universities.
Munroe rose to an incredible fame. He travelled to about 130 countries. Wrote about sixty books with 49 as a best seller.
Before he went to be with the Lord on 9 the Nov. 2014 in a Plane crash at age sixty, Munroe rose to fame as a sought after preacher, business coach, motivational and inspirational teacher
