KGDN is hiring in Abuja for the following positions:
Address: No 6 Tito Broz Street, Off Jimmy Carter Street, Asokoro, Abuja.
Role: Accounts/Financial Controller
Responsibilities include:
1. Designing and developing a financial management and accounting structure.
2. Providing financial management advisory services to the Board.
3. Establishing an accounting system to support key business operations.
4. Conducting statutory audits.
5. Offering internal audit and risk management services.
6. Delivering tax management and advisory services.
7. Supporting the implementation of financial management software.
8. Executing business process re-engineering and risk management programs.
9. Providing training on financial management services.
10. Managing financial document control and management services.
11. Ensuring effective accounting systems and addressing tax-related issues to prevent business disruptions.
Qualifications for the Accounts/Financial Controller:
1. Experience in the field.
2. Relevant qualifications (ICAN certification is a plus).
3. Excellent communication skills.
4. Proven work experience.
Role: Business Development Executive Officer
Responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating all business development activities.
2. Enhancing the company's social media presence for business development.
3. Maintaining cordial relationships with clients.
4. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and staying updated on client requests.
5. Operating from KGDN's Abuja and Port Harcourt offices.
6. Performing other tasks as assigned by management.
7. Holding a graduate degree with relevant post-qualification experience.
8. Being computer literate.
9. Achieving 95% of monthly Key Performance Index assessments (KPI).
*Business Development Activity Protocol:
- Communicating and visiting contacts at NPDC, NIPEX, DPR, NCDMB, Chevron, ExxonMobil, NLNG, Shell, Agip, Total, and other E&P organizations.
- Gathering information on business opportunity requirements for KGDN, such as registration and certification with NIPEX, DPR, and NCDMB.
