But are they really?
When exams come, the hidden costs show themselves.

This exam and results period has brought something to the surface again.

A lot of teachers are not complaining because they do not want to work. Sometimes, it is not even just about poor pay.

They are complaining because the work becomes unnecessarily hard. When things that should be done with ease start taking a serious toll on them because of the system, exhaustion is inevitable.

When one paper is missing, another was not printed properly, scores are being entered manually under pressure, scripts are being sorted everywhere, results are taking forever to compile, and there is already a mandate that everything must be ready before the weekend, then the problem is bigger than individual effort.
