One skill that will make you not to be ever broke again!
Last Saturday, I was in the market to buy a gadget. I walk to a stand. Now, while I was there pricing, some one came asking for receipt. There gave him the receipt, he filled it and signed. He counted about 30k, picked his gadget and left. He must have come to price before I came.
Then, I bought my gadget and left too.
But here is the thing that made me to study this two guys before I left.
In less than 10mins this guy's have sold two of their products.
I'm sure they must have sold more before I came.
Here is the strangest thing.
There were selling while their counterparts were just looking, hopefully wishing to sell one.
Well, with our way of thinking in Nigeria, you will say they are using jazz.
Tar! far from it.
When I study closer I discovered they had a strategy.
Here is how they do it.
One of them sit close to the product t while the other one stays far observing.
When you bargain the price with the first dude and it seems like you're giving up, the one sitting afar will rush down with something better than you picked.
Brush you up with some marketing talks.
Gbam!
You're Sold.
That was their strategy and it was working for them.
Those guys you see by the roads side selling something, make money more than some guys dressed in tie and suit in the office.
The greatest skill of all time is the ability to sell.
Here is the sad thing, people shy away from it.
Why?
"the fear of rejection"
Who rejection help self?
If you Check clearly, no rich man who gets his wealth genuinely, got it without selling something.
Every body sell something.
It only comes in different forms:
Some sell products
Others sell services.
Those doing well are people that have mastered the art of selling.
Bill gate sell products
Dangote sell products
Bishop oyedepo sell services
The list endless.
These guy's are master of their craft.
Don't say," am not wired to sell"
"Lie"
We all marketers.
When you go for interview, you go to market yourself.
When a pastor preaches he sells hope.
When a doctor cures he promote health.
You know?
The list is endless.
We are all marketers.
The sooner you embrace marketing, the better.
