Text: Matthew 11:28-30 NIV
[28] “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.[29] Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.[30] For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Yes I understand we are all human when it comes to challenges, we feel it differently best on our ability to handle it. So in this case God Himself advice us not to take it upon ourselves, why because our power is limited there are some situation that needs higher power to address it, with these we can't possibly stand the issues confronting us, so we just have to hand over to our maker who have the highest power to handle any situation at all. That's because with him all things are possible Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
SOME THINGS WE NEED TO KNOW.
1. We need to realize that on our own we can't help ourselves or becoming anything on earth except we go back to God who is able to help us to become or achieve anything we want in life.
Luke 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
2. For us to find rest in this life, we have to humble ourselves as we see ourselves as nothing that's is O, powerless, helpless then be ready to learn from our mistake and accept the word of GOD for correction that is taking his yoke, then He can put us through in the right direction we needed to go and guide us to do the right thing in any given time so as to obtain unlimited rest.
