On the principles of Negotiation!

There's always a struggle to close deals with customers in their different forms. From individual, to cooperate, to agencies and to government(s). These are customer categories.
The negotiations for a an agreeable point or line has so many factors come into play in it's process. From lobbying, to supply chain, to integrity...etc.
However, there must always be negotiations before every transaction is executed. These negotiations could be actively or passively engaged in. But the fact remains that there's always a negotiation.
One of the principles of negotiation I wanna share today is the PRINCIPLE OF RECIPROCITY
It simply means that you tend to reciprocate every action taken both for and against you.
In business negotiations, you the business owner must seek to first to offer something to your customer. You do this by creating the business, marketing the product and being actively involved in the identity of your business.
Be the first to offer something first about your product and your customer will reciprocate by asking more questions about the product.

And if someone walks into your shop, a candy offered plants the seed of reciprocity. Even if the customer doesn't buy from you, he would feel comfortable to come back, refer or pay a little higher than the usual price. It's just psychological that people tend to pay back kindness and generous attitudes
