On September 28, 2023, a remarkable chapter unfolded in the lives of the Original Inhabitants' Persons with Disabilities in the FCT. It was a day marked by hope and progress as the Executive Director, Mr. Yakubu Festus, along with the esteemed executive committee, undertook a significant step by enrolling Basira Musa into the senior secondary school at the Mass Agency in Kwali Area Council.
The atmosphere at the school was filled with warmth and appreciation, especially from the school's principal, Mr. Silas Zhiya. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the Persons with Disabilities community for their commitment to education. In his words, he eagerly welcomed more candidates who, like Basira, were willing to pursue their education further. The meeting between the executive committee and the school principal was not only productive but also symbolized a brighter future and increased opportunities for individuals with disabilities in the FCT.
