Hello guys, for those who do not know me I’m DamIlola. I’m a wife, stay-at-home mom, a brand strategist.

Like I tell women all the time, you can be whereever you are, whether at home or in the office, and make the best out of every opportunity life gives you.

Apart from having some knowledge on digital marketing, I became a full fledged digital marketer mid 2019. I was offering my importation services (which I still do), and strategy consultation for some time until I began my personal business in selling women’s underwear second week of November, 2019...just about 4 months ago.

First week of starting my business, I made 100k profit alone. my page is .intimates on Instagram. Yes, you’re reading right. In times where people buy fake followers, struggle with building real followers and customers just to make sales, I built my followers to almost 500 followers, organically. No POD, no fake comments or likes.

5 years ago, I had just begun my hair business as a complete beginner, and was sourcing from suppliers in Nigeria..i would buy an 18” virgin human hair extension for 40k and I would sell for 45k..

Ridiculous isn’t it? 😡

I was not too happy with my profit so I started looking for a lasting solution to help my earnings go higher.

I had to stay up so late at night for 6 months before I could finally come up with a solution: and that is sourcing directly from the factory...and boy, my profit doubled in a very short time

JUMIA, AMAZON, KONGA...I can guarantee you that 90% of sellers (ok, I’m probably exaggerating, about 80% of sellers) on these stores get their products directly from China, using either 1688 or Alibaba.
