A special appreciation to Lois Auta alongside other remarkable women living with disabilities across Nigeria, whose strength, courage, resilience, and advocacy continue to inspire a generation and transform our nation.
Your voices have become symbols of hope, inclusion, and possibility, reminding the world that disability does not define limitation. Through your determination and unwavering commitment to equity and representation, you continue to break barriers, open doors, and create spaces where every Nigerian can be seen, heard, and valued.

Thank you for championing dignity, accessibility, empowerment, and equal opportunity for all. Your impact reaches far beyond yourselves, it is shaping a more compassionate, inclusive, and united Nigeria for generations to come. One voice, one movement, one legacy.

It was inspiring to join the chairman of the national sport commission, Shehu Dikko, in engaging with these remarkable female wrestlers whose resilience, discipline, and unwavering determination remain a true expression of the strength, courage, and excellence of Nigerian women.

These champions recently delivered an outstanding performance at the African Wrestling Championships, we dominated the women’s category with 8 gold and 2 silver medals, further strengthening Nigeria’s legacy as a continental powerhouse in women’s wrestling.

Beyond the medals and recognition, I see young women breaking barriers, challenging limitations, and proving that excellence has no gender. Their journey is an expression of what becomes possible when girls are given the opportunity, support, and the right environment to thrive.

I also extend heartfelt congratulations to these outstanding athletes for their dedication, hard work, and for being our champions in every sense of the word. They continue to make us proud and reflect our journey of resilience, excellence, and national pride.
One voice. One movement. One choice.

The 10 Million Women Movement was not just a programme, it is a declaration.
One voice. One movement. One choice. A movement of visibility, voice, and value.

I stand at the intersection of purpose and policy, where empowering women is no longer a conversation, but a commitment backed by action. Because when we empower a woman, we secure families, we stabilize communities, and we strengthen our nation.

I am honoured to witness the presence of our Mother, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu CON, First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Wife of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Hajiya Fatima Tajudeen Abbas, This is what alignment at the highest levels of leadership looks like. This is what commitment looks like.

I MUST acknowledge that this bold initiative birthed and nurtured and expanded under the visionary leadership of the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim FSI whose clarity of purpose and unwavering commitment continues to shape its growth and national impact.

I also commend every team, every partner, and every hand that made this possible. This is what responsibility looks like. This is what happens when intentionality becomes impact.
This is not just Women O’Clock.
This is a movement.
This is Imaan O’Clock.

I had the honour of attending the Official Inauguration of the Child Rights Act Amendment Committee, led by the Federal Ministry of Justice with support from

The event was graced by distinguished leaders, including the Honourable Minister of Justice, the Honourable Minister of the FCT, and the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, alongside key stakeholders committed to advancing child protection in Nigeria.

It was especially inspiring to witness children boldly lend their voices, reminding us why the protection, dignity, and future of every child must remain a national priority. The conversations around strengthening the Child Rights Act of 2003 reaffirm our collective responsibility to build a safer, more inclusive society for Nigerian children.

As Mandate Secretary, Women Affairs, I remain committed to policies and initiatives that safeguard the rights and wellbeing of every child.

Together, we move forward because every child matters.
