A friend recently shared an amazing insight with me from the story of Jesus and the disciples during the storm, and it made me realize something deeply.

Sometimes, we become so overwhelmed by the storms around us that we forget that our peace is already with us, even in the middle of it all.

That was exactly what happened with the disciples. They were so focused on how raging the storm was that they forgot the answer, the peace, and the stillness they needed was right there with them all along. Everything changed the moment they called on Jesus.

And honestly, that’s the same thing with us. As believers, God resides in us. So when life throws challenges, pressure, fear, or uncertainty our way, we have to remember that the One who calms every storm is still present with us.

Don’t wait until things get worse before you call on Him. Don’t let the noise of the storm make you lose sight of His presence.

Wake Him concerning that situation. Trust Him again. The storm is not greater than the One who is with you.

Have a beautiful week 🤍

Sometimes the car has to reverse a little – not because it’s going back,
but because it’s trying to align properly with the road ahead.

Life can be like that too.

Sometimes, looking back isn’t regression.
Sometimes retrospect gives you clarity.
The past helps you understand the journey better,
see patterns you once missed,
and recognize how far you’ve actually come.

Some reversals aren’t setbacks.
They’re positioning.

Have you ever just sat down and a thought crossed your mind… and suddenly, you broke down in gratitude to God?

Or you were simply playing a song you’ve heard many times before, but on that particular day, the words suddenly made more sense than they ever had?

Moments like that remind you that God is truly good.

When you really pause and think deeply about your life, you begin to realize just how faithful God has been. How ever - sufficient He has always been.

Even when the present moment doesn’t fully look like it yet, the past is proof that He has come through before.

And because of that, we should remain grateful.

God has been good.
And He still is.

I deleted a Bible app because of storage issues… and surprisingly, it taught me something about people.

I had other Bible apps. Plenty, actually.
But none of them felt like that one.

It carried years of growth, memories, highlights, devotion, consistency, and quiet moments between me and God. Losing it made me realize that although things – and even people – may be replaced, replacements are not always replicas.

Some people are deeply tied to seasons of your life in ways nobody else can recreate.

Value people while you have them.
Not everything lost is found again in the same form.

There was a lady who said,
“One day, I hope to be somebody.”

And the man replied,
“Look at me… you’re already somebody.”

That stayed with me.

A lot of times, we become so focused on the version of ourselves we are trying to become that we completely overlook the value of who we already are. We carry a picture in our minds of what “somebody” should look like, sound like, achieve, or own – and because we haven’t reached that picture yet, we treat ourselves like we are still nothing.

But becoming better does not mean you are currently worthless.

You are already somebody in the middle of your becoming.
A work in progress, yes.
Still growing, yes.
Still learning, yes.
But still somebody.

And the truth is, even at the level you think is your lowest, there are people looking at your life and seeing strength, growth, courage, consistency, or hope. There are people praying to reach the place you are trying to downplay.

Nobody is a nobody.

We are all becoming.
All evolving.
All trying.
But even before the arrival, even before the full picture comes together – you still matter now.

If the product isn't selling, try taking a good picture of it. People buy with their eyes before they buy with their pocket.

Sometimes life doesn’t give you a “delete for everyone” option.

Last week, I sent out a broadcast message… and minutes later, I noticed an error.
I tried to fix it, tried to delete it, but it was already out there.

Seen. Read. Done.

And that’s when it hit me,
Some situations in life are just like that.

No matter how much you try, you can’t undo it for everyone.
You might move on. You might heal.
But you can’t control how others received it or what they remember.

At that point, all you can do is this:
Take responsibility if needed.
Learn the lesson.
And move forward.

For me, it made me more careful.
Now, I double-check. I pause. I pay attention.

Not everything can be erased,
but everything can teach you something.

Give grace to those who understand.
And for those who don’t… let it be.

Just make sure you didn’t go through it for nothing.

Have you ever experienced something you couldn’t “undo”?
Share or drop a “🤍” if this resonated.
