I am a man hoping to become a father someday. Today, as we celebrate Father's Day, I am reminded that the path to fatherhood is a tough one.
To the fathers who provide, protect, nurture and discipline, thank you for all you do.
To the fathers who stay longer outside so the kids would've gone to bed because they are experiencing financial difficulties and don't want their kids to see them break down, I hope you survive this period.
To the fathers who have taken up the responsibilities of training other children as theirs, you are a rare gem.
To the fathers fighting to keep the home together despite kaikai behaviour all around, I hope your family succeeds and comes out strong.
To the fathers who have gone to the great beyond, keep resting in peace.
To the fathers thinking of doing a DNA test, please do it this new week.
