Two Days. 150 Young Minds. One Shared Commitment: Building a Better Nigeria. 🇳🇬

The National Youth Mentorship Conference on Sustainable Democratic Governance in Nigeria was more than a two-day programme—it was a platform for learning, mentorship, dialogue, reflection and meaningful connection among young Nigerians committed to becoming responsible leaders and active contributors to our democracy.

Across two impactful days, 150 young people from universities, youth organizations and diverse backgrounds came together to explore leadership, democratic governance, civic responsibility, youth participation, personal development and the role of young people in shaping Nigeria's future.

We are proud to have created a space where young people could learn from experienced leaders, ask difficult questions, exchange ideas and begin to see themselves not merely as beneficiaries of society, but as stakeholders and future builders of our nation.

At the AI Impact Summit organized by iLeadAfrica, I had the privilege of contributing to a critical conversation on the future we are building with Artificial Intelligence.

As Founder and Principal Consultant at Mande Global Impact Consulting Limited (MGIC), I emphasized that while AI holds immense potential to accelerate development, innovation, and inclusion, its true power lies in how responsibly we choose to use it.

LEADERSHIP FOR EVERYONE: BUILDING CAPACITY, STRENGTHNING IMPACT.

Leadership is not a title, it is a shared responsibility and a daily practice. This conviction shaped the recent Staff Capacity Building Facilitation on “Leadership for Everyone”, delivered by Sulaiman Mande, Founder and Principal Consultant at Mande Global Impact Consulting Limited (MGIC), for the staff members and leadership of iLEADAFRICA.

The goal of this capacity-building session was clear and strategic: to equip every staff member—regardless of role or level—with practical leadership skills, the right mindset, and the confidence to take ownership, drive innovation, and contribute meaningfully to organizational growth and impact. The training emphasized self-leadership, accountability, collaboration, ethical decision-making, and purpose-driven action as core competencies for sustainable organizational success.
