Grasscutters are one of the most profitable mini-livestock that you can produce; they can get most or all of their food from eating grass. There’s a huge demand for them. Last year alone, grasscutters worth millions of naira were grown and sold. Not only is the demand high, but crossbreed grasscutters are very easy to raise. They grow fast and take about six months from start to reproduction time, and no full-time commitment is necessary.

You can still have a full-time job or other commitment and be a successful grasscutter farmer. If you have a few hours a week to spare, then you have enough time to produce grasscutters for huge profit.

So what kind of money can you make? Grasscutters are currently selling for about $10 to $15 per Kg in the international market and N2000 to N2500 per Kg locally. Fully grown grasscutter can weigh up to 5kg. A room space can produce, on average, 1000kg in a year. That’s around $10,000, or $15,000 or N2, 000,000 a year. Need more money? Expand the growing area to produce more grasscutters. Growing crossbreed grasscutters for profit is certainly not a get-rich-quick scheme, but you can make a nice income. Hi, is Your question; How do I start a business without investment?

If by ‘without investment’, you mean ‘without any start up capital and only my time’ then there is a way.

Follow the definition of ‘business’ which by default, gives you a business plan.

‘Business’ is 1) finding a client who 2) wants your solution to their problem and 3) is willing to pay you for that solution and 4) is able to pay you for your solution so that 5) you make a profit.

If you keep these steps in the right order, and find the right client with a problem that you can solve to meet the other 3 criteria then you have the start of a business.

I did exactly this when I started a company that I built from $0 to $23 million in 18 months, with no capital to speak of, no credit, no loans and a poor credit rating.

The other significant difference comes when we learn to follow our gut or instinct’ or ‘internal spiritual guidance’.

Tips for making YouTube videos

It depends completely upon your wit and wisdom to make your videos successful. They have to be interesting enough to grab the viewers’ attention.

The caption or the title should be catchy as it is the first thing to be noticed by the viewer.

You have to create a thumbnail which is irresistible and steers users curiosity and invites them to click on your video.

You have to grow your subscriber base through constant calls to action in your videos.

The videos have to be of high quality. Nowadays you should consider creating a 4k video. YouTube will scale it down to lower resolutions for you.

The audio too has to be of high quality. Though with today's cheap and high quality condenser mics this should not be a problem. Avoid using the microphone from your smartphone when you film outside. The external noise or wind would ruin the users experience.

There are many ways through which you can earn money with your YouTube channel. You can start with ads and then look into other ways from which you can make money like affiliate marketing or straight out partner programs.
YouTube is also a great platform to do marketing for your own products, such as self help books or online courses.
