I dey scroll my Facebook feed, na im I jam one post wey talk say: β€œJealousy na normal feeling and e even dey Bible say God self na jealous God.”

I just smile tell myself say: As the feeling normal, if person no handle am well, e fit turn you into monster wey you no plan to be.

Na so I reason am like this:

🌱 Why You Dey Jealous Sometimes

Jealousy na when you dey feel somehow because another person get wetin you dey want β€” like success, attention, or better life. E no mean say you be bad person, e just mean you be human.

1. Comparison Wahala
You dey look other people life (for social media or real life) and you dey compare am with your own, forgetting say dem too get struggle.

2. Wetin You Dey Find
Jealousy dey show say you sef dey desire something β€” like progress, recognition, love or stability. E no too concern the other person, e just dey remind you wetin you want.

3. Normal Feeling
Jealousy na like message from your heart wey dey tell you: β€œThis matter dey important to me.”

🌸 How You Fit Handle Am Gently

No dey fight the feeling, try turn am around:

1. Pause & Notice
When the jealousy show, tell yourself: β€œI see this feeling, but e no go control me.”

2. Change Am to Curiosity
Ask yourself: β€œWetin this jealousy dey show me say I dey desire?”
(Example: If you jealous person career, maybe na growth for your own work you really dey want.)

3. Pray Instead of Compare
