The real face behind CAF is now exposed…
Dr. Patrice Motsepe 🇿🇦 by day, “Royal Moroccan 🇲🇦” by night.
It’s becoming painfully clear that even the CAF President can no longer make independent decisions.
No offence when Morocco uses laser lights, snatches a goalkeeper’s towel, or engages in fights on the pitch but suddenly, it becomes a cr!m!nal offence when results don’t favour them.
Considering Morocco’s behaviour during the last Women’s AFCON and Men’s AFCON, CAF should have sanctioned them heavily; even banning them for several editions. But no… CAF would rather protect its financial interests. Without Morocco, there’s fear of losing Arab money, so the easiest path is to keep dancing to their tune.
It’s truly disappointing.
Imagine this: the Women’s AFCON was reportedly on hold because Morocco thr£at£ned to withdraw hosting rights and CAF immediately postponed the tournament. Yet, immediately the CAF Disciplinary Board ruled in favour of Morocco’s 🇲🇦 men’s team as the new 2025 AFCON champions 🏆, they suddenly agreed to host the women’s competition again.
What a shame. 🤧
