There’s this lie that many of us have been sold: “You’re too poor to save.” It sounds true, especially when the bills are many, and your salary is barely enough to make it to the end of the month.

But let me ask you: What if your small salary is actually your test? What if how you treat that “little” in your hand is what determines whether God will trust you with more?

Let’s go back to a story you probably know — the Parable of the Talents. A master gave his servants talents (money). One got five, another two, and the last one got just one.

The first two multiplied what they were given. The last one buried his because he felt it was too small to grow.

Guess what the master said to him? Not, “Oh sorry, I understand it wasn’t much.” No. He called him wicked and lazy.

Yes, wicked. Because when you waste or refuse to grow what God has given you — no matter how small — heaven calls it wickedness.

This project is your wake-up call: Stop burying your salary in airtime, impulse buying, unproductive subscriptions, and endless purchase of liabilities.

Save something.

Invest something.

Even if it’s just ₦3,000 a month, start.
