IS YOUR WATER REALLY SAFE FOR DRINKING?
When water is stagnant bacteria breeds in, water in your overhead storage tank is stagnant when not in use, bacteria can breed in. Sometimes you look into your tank you find Algae (Greenish growth).
Also, water that flows from water corporation has high content of chlorine in order to keep the water safe and sterilized, but chlorine is not to be consumed but removed at the point of use.
Water is to be treated to the point of use.
Our Point of Use (P.O.U) water treatment system dechlorinates, treats water to become palatable and safe for drinking.

Ground water is water that is found below the surface of the earth, for example we have deep well (borehole) and shallow well, this water maybe contaminated with bacteria, viruses, chemicals etc. Some however may not have bacterial contamination but have other contaminants like Iron, hardness, lead and many others. GROUND WATER CONTAMINATION AND COLORATION
As groundwater flows through the ground, metals such as iron and manganese are dissolved and may be found in high concentrations in the water. Several natural and artificial causes are responsible for groundwater contamination. Industrial discharge, agriculture, and disposal of waste all can affect groundwater quality. Leakage from septic tanks can introduce bacteria to groundwater that eventually end up in water from a well/borehole.
Most of these contaminants alter the color of water.
Perhaps the most common cause of water coloration is the presence of minerals, red and brown colors are due to iron; black to manganese or organic matter; and yellow to dissolved organic matter such as tannins. Iron and manganese are common, at least in small amounts in most rocks and sediments. In groundwater that contains abundant dissolved oxygen, iron and manganese form solid mineral. In some groundwater with limited amount or no oxygen present, iron and manganese dissolve in the water, when this water is pumped from the well/borehole, it encounters oxygen from the atmosphere, and these elements precipitate as very small particles of iron hydroxide and/or manganese hydroxide minerals.
It is wise to have your well/borehole water tested for contaminants.

Membrane Filtration
Membrane filtration is any form of solid/liquid separation in which the filter media is a synthetic membrane. There are three common types of membrane filtration: Microfiltration (MF); Ultrafiltration (UF); Reverse Osmosis (RO)
The basic difference between these three pressure driven methods is the size and type of substances they remove from water.
1. Microfiltration is a process used for separating particles in the 0.02µm to 10.0µm size range utilizing mechanical retention, the membrane in this case acts as a simple sieving device. Microfiltration is effective at reducing very small suspended particles in water, but the membrane pores allows dissolved mineral salts to pass through.
2. Ultrafiltration is used to remove non-ionized dissolved materials, such as large organic macro-molecules from water. This method is generally utilized for separation from a solution of various particles in the 0.001 to 0.020 micron range, as well as molecules with a 300 to 300,000 molecular weight (MW) range.
3. Reverse Osmosis, the most sophisticated membrane separation process is used primarily for removal of ionized materials or dissolved mineral salts (total dissolved solids) from solution.
