Let me tell you something most people don’t know from the perspective of a real estate professional.

You keep hearing about Awka 2.0, but many people don’t fully understand what is coming. What you see today is just the beginning. A whole new city is gradually rising. It may not look like much right now, but give it about 4 years. Land prices in that area could become something many people can no longer afford. I strongly believe you won’t easily find land there for less than ₦40 million.

Right now, I have two properties around that area selling for ₦6 million and ₦7.2 million. Both have a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) and are on the approved list of the Ministry of Lands.

One important piece of advice: don’t buy land from just anybody because the price is cheap. Verify every property before making payment. The current government is taking land documentation and development very seriously. If any property has issues, there could be enforcement actions in the future, and you don’t want to lose your hard-earned money.

In fact, don’t just trust my word because I’m selling. Go to the Ministry of Lands and verify any property I show you. Yes, I said it. A genuine real estate professional should never be afraid of verification.

Buy smart. Verify first. Invest with peace of mind.

People see the titles today, real estate consultant, life coach, relationship and marriage coach, entrepreneur and assume it all came easy. They didn't see the years of learning people before I ever counseled them, understanding land before I ever sold it, breaking down businesses before I built mine, or sitting with my own struggles in relationships before I earned the right to guide anyone else's. Nobody claps for that part.

Every hat I wear today was earned in silence long before it was recognized in public. Real estate taught me patience. Entrepreneurship taught me resilience. Coaching people through their relationships, marriages, and personal growth taught me that impact isn't about having all the answers, it's about showing up honestly, again and again, for people who trust you with things that matter to them.

I didn't set out to build a brand. I set out to be usefu, to help people build homes, build businesses, build love that lasts, and build lives with intention. The rest followed.

To everyone who trusted me before there was proof, thank you. The work continues. “You don't need to be the best. You just need to be better than you were yesterday.”

The weekend has a funny way of exposing priorities. Some people will spend these two days escaping from Monday. Others will use them to build a life they won’t need to escape from.

One land inspection. One conversation with the right person. One investment decision. That’s all it sometimes takes to change the direction of your future. The truth is, opportunities don’t care what day it is. While many are pressing pause, assets are still appreciating, developments are still happening, and those who move early are quietly positioning themselves ahead.

Rest if you need to. Have fun if you can. But don’t let another weekend pass without doing something your future self will thank you for. The best time to change your financial story isn’t next month, it’s the moment you decide to stop watching opportunities and start owning them.
