The Iran-Israel-USA conflict is indeed having significant ripple effects on Africa, making unity a pressing necessity. Economically, the war is driving up oil prices, affecting fuel costs, inflation, and food security across the continent. Countries like Ghana and Nigeria are particularly vulnerable due to their reliance on imported fuel and food.
Politically, African nations are walking a tightrope, balancing their relationships with Western powers and emerging blocs like BRICS. The conflict highlights Africa's limited leverage in global geopolitics, underscoring the need for stronger regional cooperation and diplomacy.
The Pan-African Parliament has called for global unity, tolerance, and African-led solutions to address conflicts and promote peace and security. Strengthening regional partnerships, investing in education and youth empowerment, and promoting cultural diplomacy are key strategies for African unity.
