INVITATION TO TENDER.

The Edo State Government through the Edo State Electrification Agency, Edo State from its approved Budget for the Fiscal year in carrying out the supply and Installation of Solar Street Lighting Systems across Edo State.
Consequently, the Edo State Electrification Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders who wish to bid for the project.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Supply and installation of 5,000 Units of Solar Street Light System across Edo State.

Interested bidders are to collect bid documents from the Procurement Office, Edo State Electrification, Secretariat Building, Block C, Floor 6, Sapele Road, Benin City, from the date of publication of the advert between the hours of 9:00am to 3:00pm, Mondays to Friday excluding public holiday upon submission of a written request with evidence of payment of a non-refundable fee of (₦100,000) One Hundred Thousand Naira Only, The tender fee is to be paid into Edo state IGR by raising a bill Ref from the Account Department Edo State Electrification Agency Secretariat Building Block C, Floor 6,sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State.

The Edo State Electrification Agency (EDSEA) was pleased to host members of the Nigerian Universities Engineering Students Association (NUESA), University of Benin Chapter, 2025/2026 Session, during a courtesy visit to the Agency on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026.

The students engaged in an insightful meeting with the Director General and other Directors of the Agency at the EDSEA Conference Room, where discussions focused on NUESA's vision for academic excellence, innovation and technical growth amoung engineering students on sustainable energy solutions, innovation in the power sector, and the role of young engineers in advancing Nigeria’s energy future.

The visit provided a valuable platform as the Engineering Hub for knowledge sharing, mentorship, and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry as we work towards a more electrified and sustainable Edo State.
