1️⃣ Sleep first
Tahajjud is prayed after sleeping and then waking up in the night.
2️⃣ Wake up in the last third of the night
This is the best time because Allah’s mercy is closest.
3️⃣ Make Wudu (Ablution) 💧
Prepare yourself like you would for any prayer.
4️⃣ Pray at least 2 Rak‘ah
Tahajjud is prayed 2 Rak‘ah at a time.
You can pray 2, 4, 6, or 8 Rak‘ah.
5️⃣ Recite Qur’an calmly 📖
After Surah Al-Fatiha, recite any surah you know.
6️⃣ Make long Du’a after prayer 🤲
Ask Allah for forgiveness, guidance, success, and Jannah.
7️⃣ Finish with Witr prayer
Pray 1 or 3 Rak‘ah Witr before Fajr.
✨ The Prophet Muhammad said that Allah descends in the last part of the night and answers the prayers of those who call upon Him.
