TIPS TO IMPROVE YOUR BATTERY LIFE CYCLE.
Options for how to enable these services will vary by phone's categories or brands, but a quick search in settings should bring them up.
TIP 1: USE THE PROPER ADAPTER AND CHARGER.
Use the correct charger and adapter for your phone to avoid improper charging. Get a charger from the manufacturer, not roadside, cheap, unbranded chargers.
The cheap charges may not provide the right voltage and current resulting in potential damage and degradation of your mobile battery.
TIP 2: REDUCE SCREEN BRIGHTNESS.
Some people like to increase the brightness to maximum, so that the screen will be seen clearly, This is a bad practice. Most smartphones take more than 50% of total power consumption, brightness reduction can greatly decrease the consumption of the battery.
Your eyes and battery will thank you.
TIP 3: TURN ON POWER SAVING MODE.
Think you're going to be stuck in a situation where you need your phone battery to last longer than normal? Switch your phone into power saver mode, which automatically cuts back on functions that may eat battery life - enabling this feature can buy you some extra time.
TIPS 4: DISABLED WALLPAPER AND WIDGETS:
Stay away from moving wallpapers, because it takes energy for your display to animate it. It's also a good idea to limit yourself to a background with fewer colors in it, since the display will eat up more energy if it needs to render a lot of different colors.
Tip 5: AVOID EXPOSING BATTERY TO HIGH TEMPERATURES
Store the device in a cool and dry place. Your smartphone’s battery degradation is much higher when it’s hot – irrespective of whether it is in active use or not. When using a car charger, do not charge the battery when the inside temperature of the car is hot. Wait until the car has cooled before you plug in the phone.
Tip 6: CHARGE BATTERY TO 50% BEFORE KEEPING YOUR DEVICE INACTIVE FOR A LONG PERIOD
If you’re not using your device for a while, then keep the battery at around 50% before turning it off or remove the battery from the phone if it's removable.
TIP 7: CLOSE THE ACTIVE BUT UNNECESSARY PROGRAMS IN THE BACKGROUND
A lot of software are back to background and connect to the network automatically when you thought they exit . these apps are the battery killers, you need to find these ‘disgusting’ apps and shut them down in background.
TIP 8: CHARGE PROMPTLY AND AVOID PROLONGED CHARGING.
Make it a practice if possible when your phone reaches the 15% or 10% battery meter plug it to charge, it’s not good to charge when it’s out of battery every time . As much as you can, avoid charging on low voltage power sources, some good sources are PHCN and high voltage generators.
TIP 9: AVOID HIGH USAGE WHEN CHARGING
Avoid or minimize gaming, watching videos, calls, surfing the internet WHEN CHARGING.
If conditions permit, it is best to power off the smart phone when charging, which is the best maintenance of the battery. It would be a great security risk to be using mobile phone while charging, and will also make the body to accept greater radiation.
TIP 10: BUY A PORTABLE BATTERY (POWER BANK) OR CASE
To some people no matter what they do in time they will still suffer low battery life cycle issues not because the battery is bad but because it has low voltage storage capacity ( mAh). In this case, getting a good power bank out there will safe you from unnecessary headache.
