What is happening to Radio Rivers 2 FM stereo? We are aware that this is the only Rivers state Government radio station which ranks higher than any other in Africa. That's why it is regarded as the premier radio station. We are aware that government is taking care of all welfares as well as as providing the needed equipments. But it's very disheartening that management are playing politics with the station. Funds are embezzled without properly using it to maintain facilities on ground. Why are human beings wicked. This is the station that gives the public required information, Education and entertainment but it has been off air for more than a week now at the detriment of those who patronize it. Am calling on Governor Wike to call the management to order and punished anyone involved adequately. Enough is enough and should not be business as usual.

The 2021 three days Children camp meeting of Khana Diocese of Christ Army Church Nigeria, Province two holds at St.Andrew CACN, Beakogoro, Beeri District, Khana 1Archdeaconry from Thursday 5_saturday 7th August 2021 with the theme:" While it is Day"John 9:4_5. The camp training was organized by the Children department of the Diocese in conjunction with Children Evangelism Ministry Int'l. In his opening address, the Chairman of the committee, Revd Tordumbari Wiri reiterated the need to bring up children in the way they should go(prov.22:6)as Christians while it's still day and not when it is late, for the day is evil.He advised parents and Elders to be architects of their children's life. The camp meeting features: religious and moral orientation of children in Bible study activities, quiz competition,singing drills and novelty match. The Diocesan Bishop RtRev MJ Gbarako presided over the closing session today. Lecturers included seasoned educationist and staffs of the Children Evangelism Ministry amongst others with Dr, GY Nkeenam leading his medical team. We are happy that Khana Local Government Area is among the Rivers state councils that has witnessed a changed in government.Regretably, Khana villages has been ravaged by cult activities leading to killings, burning of houses,kidnappings, ra**ng and total displacement. Khana council Area now has a new brand Chairman whom we expect by his charisma can be a performing one.The deadly wound the khana people has now is insecurity which should be the cardinal project he should face . Khana citizens are suffering and we expect him to accord prominence to insecurity.Communities like Boue in Babbe , Kaani, Luebe, Lorre,okwale,kpaa have been displaced due to the ugly activities of this hoodlums. We wholeheartedly welcome the Chairman and his administration. So far, so good. Congratulations.

Today June 12, is Nigeria'sDemocracy day.Is it all about remembering the death of Chief M K O Abiola or handing over power to newly elected politicians?. What impact has Nigerian Democracy on the Nigerian citizens since the inception of democracy?. One can rightly say that the more democracy is practiced in Nigeria,the more Nigerians suffers. The fundermental Rights of citizens as entrenched in constitution are not practiced since Nigeria democracy is not practice in line with the Constitution. Billions of naira will today be spent in the name of celebrating democracy day when millions of youths are unemployed, civil servants not paid, Retirees not paid pensions, gratuities and arrears.Today , another batch of looters will be sworn in nationwide. Who is monitoring them. Will they perform ? While they swear to be selfless in service to the citizens. They should know that it's a sin and he who sins shall DIE. While they too will be there to support and sponsor cultism, kidnapping, banditry,herders, unemployment and corruption. They should also know that death is awaiting them. We should be wise.

Attention Khana Local Government council and Rivers state Government: what is actually happening to the Ministry of Agriculture land in Bori that have been encroached, sold and shared by neighboring communities without even the council asking. Are we rejecting the Ministry ? Let's watch out.
