Good Morning Jalax....
Welcome to a new week
Maybe you’re still unemployed because you’ve only been looking in one direction..... white-collar office jobs.
Think about it for a moment.....
Have you ever seriously considered agribusiness?
Not as a backup plan.
Not as something to do when nothing else works.
But as a real business opportunity capable of creating income, growth, and long-term wealth.
Many young graduates are trapped in the same cycle....
Send CV.
Wait.
No reply.
Repeat.
Weeks become months.
Months become years.
And deep down, many still believe....
“Agriculture is for people who failed.”
“Farming is outdated.”
“There’s no money in it.”
But if agriculture is truly worthless….. why does the whole world depend on it every single day?
Modern agriculture is no longer just about hoes and cutlasses.
It’s processing.
It’s packaging.
It’s branding.
It’s logistics.
It’s exports.
It’s digital marketing.
It’s technology.
It’s innovation.
It’s business.
The issue is not lack of opportunity.
The issue is mindset.
We celebrate office jobs.
But ignore industries that create real value.
While some people are endlessly waiting for interviews, others are....
Building poultry businesses.
Supplying supermarkets with fresh produce.
Processing farm products into premium brands.
Selling agricultural products online.
Teaching and monetizing agricultural knowledge digitally.
And here’s the truth....
Agribusiness is bigger than farming.
It needs marketers.
Accountants.
Content creators.
Data analysts.
Salespeople.
Entrepreneurs.
Innovators.
Maybe unemployment isn’t the only problem.
Maybe direction is part of it too.
Instead of constantly asking....
“Who will employ me?”
What if you started asking....
“What value can I create?”
Agriculture is not punishment.
It is one of the few industries that will never go out of relevance because people must eat.
And one of the biggest mistakes a young person can make is waiting endlessly for a seat in an office while ignoring the opportunities in land, food, and production around them.
Just something to think about.
Have you truly considered agribusiness…...
Or have you only considered employment?
