Yesterday, I launched the Samuel Akanimoh Educational Support Initiative which has taken a significant step in empowering the next generation of leaders in Afaha Eket community. By providing essential educational resources, including books, school bags, uniforms, and shoes, the initiative is bridging the gap for underprivileged children.

The project's long-term commitment, spanning 20 years for each beneficiary, and its focus on computer-based training and tech development, demonstrate a deep understanding of the community's needs.

With an ambitious goal to reach 1 million children in 10 years, this initiative has the potential to make a lasting impact.

The event was graced By Hon. Victor Ette, comr. Anietie Samuel and the Executive council of Eket Student's Association, members of the Afaha Eket community.

By supporting educational initiatives like this, we can collectively contribute to creating a brighter future for our community.

This is an absolutely appropriate response to Trump and US. The Canadian president has communicated in very clear terms how his country feels about the tariff imposition and has as well imposed equall percentage of tariff on US.

Notice that Canada is strictly activating a response from their place of advantage, not some careless retaliation just for the sake of it. By imposing tariff on US, they would probably reduce taxation on Canadian businesses back home in order to enable their people to have good alternatives and look inward to patronize homemade products and services.

I wish Nigeria had a government with this amount of guts, smartness and leadership intelligence. Nigeria's advantage stems from a large market, a large economy, strong purchasing power and very large export potential.

Nigeria's tariff imposition can harm any country's economy. It would potentially offer a chance for real evolution back home with production and trade improvement in agriculture and solid minerals.

I see no justification why fellow ECOWAS member states would freely violate the free trade treaty against Nigeria, yet Nigeria hasn't choked all of them with drastic policies on export.

WHILE I PREPARE AND WAIT, I'LL KEEP CLAPPING FOR OTHERS TILL IT'S MY TURN - Samuel Akanimoh

Fellow youths!

As you journey through life, remember that success is not a competition, but a celebration of individual achievements. While you're working tirelessly towards your goals, don't forget to acknowledge and applaud the successes of others.

Instead of comparing yourself to others or feeling envious of their accomplishments, focus on your own growth and development. Use the successes of others as motivation to push yourself harder and strive for excellence.

Remember, your time will come! Keep preparing, learning, and growing, and don't be discouraged by delays or setbacks. Celebrate the wins of others, and know that your own victory is on the horizon.

So, keep clapping for others, and don't stop believing in yourself! Your turn is coming, and when it does, you'll be ready to shine!

I'd love to empower youths with 1 SHIBA INU TOKEN each!

But response might be, "It's too small." But consider this: hold onto it for 10 years.

What seems insignificant today could become a game-changer tomorrow! Crypto currencies like Shiba have shown tremendous growth potential.

Tension in Lagos political circles as Obasa moves to resume as Speaker today.

The Lagos State House of Assembly is set for a tense sitting today as the leadership crisis between Mojisola Meranda and Mudashiru Obasa continues to deepen.

Obasa, who was impeached as Speaker on January 13, 2025, by 35 of the Assembly’s 40 members over allegations of misconduct and financial mismanagement, insists he remains the legitimate Speaker.

Over the weekend, Obasa returned from a trip abroad and declared his intention to resume as Speaker, describing his impeachment as unconstitutional.

Addressing supporters at his official residence in Ikeja, he criticized the process that led to his removal and accused the police of interfering.

“I am not afraid of being removed. Lagos is a special place; we cannot denigrate the state. They should prove their allegations against me and follow due process,” Obasa said.

In response, lawmakers loyal to Mojisola Meranda, elected as the new Speaker, reaffirmed their position, insisting that Obasa’s removal was final and in line with constitutional procedures.

A statement from former House Committee Chairman on Information and Security, Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode, noted, “Over two-thirds of the Assembly members remain solidly united behind Speaker Mojisola Meranda, and we stand firmly by the decision taken on January 13.”

Meanwhile, reports indicate that President Bola Tinubu, during a recent meeting with both factions in Abuja, upheld the Assembly’s decision to remove Obasa, urging him to vacate the Speaker’s residence peacefully.
