It feels bad when your tomatoes or pepper is not fruiting after doing all it takes to plant and care for it.

In most cases, lack of potassium in the plant is what causes it to be unable to fruit.

So what do you do as one practicing organic farming and can not use the synthetic fertiliser to achieve this?

There are fruits or crops you can use their by products to make this potassium available for your plant to enable them fruit.

One of such is the banana peels..yes, peels of the banana you like to eat every day.

The peels are rich in potassium.

So how do you use it?

1. you can mulch the peels around the crop by placing it at the base of the plant.

2. You can dry and grind it into fine powder the apply at the base of the plant.

3. You can soak it in water an get the nutrient after 3-4 days and apply the water on the plant.

This when done adds potassium to your plants and enable it to start fruiting..

Please do not do this if your crop is already fruiting. Over accumulation of potassium in plant is not good for it Healthy development.
