🌍 WORLD CLEAN UP DAY 2026!
WE DID IT IN ENUGU! ♻️💚

Yes we made history in Enugu!

Green Guru NG in partnership with NYSC Enugu Editorial and Publicity CDS mobilized volunteers, corps members and residents for a massive community clean-up to mark the World Cleanup Day 2026.

From NOWAS Junction, Trans-Ekulu to Abakpa Junction, down to Liberty junction, we cleaned, we picked, we sensitized, we inspired!

What we did:
✅ Cleared waste from streets and gutters
✅ Educated traders and households on sorting & recycling.
✅ Created awareness on World Cleanup Day.

It was hot.
It was tiring.
But the joy of seeing a cleaner street? PRICELESS ✨

To every single person who came out, carried a placard, picked a bottle, shouted "Keep Enugu Clean"
THANK YOU!
You are the real heroes of the 2026 WCD.

A special shout-out to our amazing volunteers and partners.
Enugu is cleaner today because of YOU.

Every item you throw away has to go somewhere: it either gets a second chance at Green Guru Center or it ends up in the environment where it causes other health & environmental challenges.
Your choice may feel small at the moment but it adds up in a big way over time.
Your recyclables has two path:
a. A Green Guru Ng center
b. The landfill/environment

Which one will you choose?

Nigerians consume over 60 million "pure water" and single-use plastics on a daily basis. And out of over 2.5 million tonnes of plastic waste generated annually, only about 12% are being recycled.
What happens to the remaining 88%?
Do you recycle the plastics you generate in your home?

Our Last Mile Centre is now in your community. Call us or come to our centre to drop off your plastic and get paid.
