Let me say this and I don't care who is offended.

Nigerians are SUFFERING. Real suffering. Not the type you read in newspapers — the type where a mother skips meals so her children can eat. The type where a man wakes up every morning and has nothing to show for his hard work because everything he earns goes straight to survival.

Fuel price is up. Food price is up. Rent is up. School fees are up. But salaries? SAME. Opportunities? DISAPPEARING.

And what are our leaders doing? Traveling abroad. Commissioning projects that exist only on paper. Smiling in photos while we are slowly dying.

This is not politics. This is life and death for millions of Nigerians.

We cannot keep quiet and call it peace. We cannot keep praying and call it faith. At some point we must look each other in the eyes and ask — HOW LONG?

2027 is coming. Remember this hunger. Remember this pain. Don't let them buy your vote with rice and N5,000. Your stomach will be empty again the morning after.

Nigeria deserves BETTER. WE deserve better. 🇳🇬

This is really heartbreaking 😔🇬🇭
Seeing it firsthand hits different people literally running out of their own homes is traumatic, not just an inconvenience.
Dansoman has been dealing with flooding for *years*and it keeps getting worse every rainy season. The drainage infrastructure just hasn't kept up with how much the area has grown and developed.
The frustrating part is it's not even a new problem it's been reported, complained about, petitioned about and yet every June/July it's the same story. Families displaced, property destroyed, sometimes lives lost.
What the government needs to do is real investment in **proper drainage channels not just patching here and there. Other countries manage heavy rainfall without this level of chaos it's purely an infrastructure and planning failure 🙏🏾
