On Tuesday, the 17th of this month we have witnessed the ritirement day of malam Alto Haruna Roni current Government printer of Jigawa State who is also the chief administrator ofjigawa state printing press, Dutse.
He handed over the administration of the press to Director admin and finance malam Umar Haruna Sambo who will hold the office pending the appointment of nother officer on acting capacity or as substantive Government printer as the case may be.
We really missed malam Alto and wish him success in his life after service.
We pray to Almighty Allah to hold the hands of malam Umar Haruna Sambo to manage the affairs of the to a greater hight during his acting period while assuring him of our total loyalty.

We hosted the members of jigawa State House of assembly committee on information under the leadership of the committee chairman on a courtesy visit to state printing press.
The visit was quite suitable and historic, they were abled to go round the different sections of the press to witness the current situation on how the work is been carried out. They noticed the numerous challenges comprising manpower shortage and other technical issues battling the press. The government printer who is also the chief executive of the press submitting a written documents containing what is required to make the press competes with it's counterparts nationwide.
Be they left, the chairman requested for an all encompassing proposals including pictures and physical evidence which he will use to take the issue onward to H. E . for consideration. He further promised to so all he could with the support of his committee members to convince H. E. in making sure the quit rehabilitation of the press.
They lastly thank the management and entire staff of the press for their ability to manage the press despite huge challenges they have, and encourage them to continue putting rheir best
