Gombe State Engages Tunisian and Moroccan Investors for African-Led Development Partnerships
On February 16, 2026, a delegation of investors and development partners from Tunisia and Morocco visited Abuja to engage with the Gombe State Government on potential development collaborations across water, energy, agriculture, and other priority sectors.
The dinner meeting, hosted by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, brought together senior officials, international investors, and the leadership of African Network Centre Ltd, including Alhaji Ahmed Shuaibu Gara-Gombe. The engagement provided an opportunity to highlight Gombe State’s strategic potential, including its water resources, dams, industrial parks, and vast agricultural lands.
During the event, both Tunisian and Moroccan partners shared insights on investment opportunities and technical expertise, while the Governor emphasized the value of African-led solutions and South-South cooperation in driving sustainable development and economic growth.
The discussions reinforced the importance of structured partnerships to unlock Gombe State’s investment potential, promote regional development, and strengthen collaboration between local authorities, traditional institutions, and international partners.
