While you’re waiting for God to change things, that’s a test. It’s easy to live worried, stay focused on the problem, think about why it’s not going to work out. Clear out that clutter. Isaiah said, “If you’ll keep your mind on Him, He will keep you in perfect peace.” Our part is to keep our mind on Him. “Father, thank You that You’re in control. Thank You that You are for me. Thank You that Your destiny for my life will come to pass.” When we do our part, God will do His part. He’ll not only keep you in peace, but He’ll get you to where you’re supposed to be.

Don’t let those hot winds of testing cause you to wilt or think that God is not for you. “I must have done something wrong.” No, you probably did something right. That’s why the enemy is trying to stop you. He thought you would fall apart, get bitter, blame God. But what he didn’t realize is you know how to stand. You’re not moved by the hot winds, you’re not worried about the medical report, you’re not frustrated over how long it’s been. You’re steadfast. You’re immovable.

Every time you discount yourself, what you’re doing is making yourself unattractive. You’re calling in negativity, calling in insecurity. Why don’t you start saying, “I am well liked; people love to be around me. I have a great personality. I’m surrounded by God’s favor.” When you speak that out, it not only allows it to come to pass, but it gets down on the inside of you.

Keep a good attitude when you’re in the waiting room, when doors are closing, when others are being promoted and it seems like you’re being bypassed. Your time is coming. There’s a birth in your future. It’s something bigger than you've imagined, something that you weren’t expecting. When you stay faithful in the waiting room, honoring God, He will give you the land. That means you won’t have to make it happen in your own strength. God will give you the position, give you the spouse, give you the influence.

Take a seat at the table God has prepared for i. If you’ll stay at rest, God will go to work. But when you work, God will rest. As long as you’re worried, trying to make things happen in your own strength, that will limit what God will do. The Psalmist said, “Be still and know that He is God.” Clear out the worry, clear out the offense, clear out the negativity. Live from a place of peace, a place of rest, a place of faith. God has you in the palm of His hand. Nothing you’re facing is a surprise to him.

Don’t get in agreement with the negative. Go back to what your Creator said. God said He’s restoring health unto you. He said you will run and not be weary, You will enjoy lifetime peace and not turmoil, He said weeping endures for a night, but joy is coming in the morning. What do you say about yourself? “I’m sick. I’m depressed. I am conquered” No, say, “I’m healthy; I’m whole; I’m energetic; I’m free; I’m happy; I’m victorious.” If you’ll start saying what God says about you instead of what you feel, you’ll see things begin to turn around. Don’t go through life wearing these negative labels.
