THE STORM ON THE SEA

The disciples thought they were going to die.

The waves were violent.

The wind was screaming.

And Jesus was asleep.

“Master, don't you care that we're perishing?” they cried.

Jesus stood up.

He spoke to the storm.

“Peace. Be still.”

Immediately, the wind stopped.

The sea became calm.

The disciples stared at one another in amazement.

They had been terrified because they thought Jesus was unaware of their storm.

But He had been with them the entire time.

God's silence doesn't mean His absence.

Sometimes He is with you in the boat before He calms the storm.

THE MAN WHO WAITED BY THE POOL

For 38 years, he waited for his miracle.

He watched others receive healing.

He watched people walk away while he remained where he was.

Then Jesus came.

Jesus asked him a simple question:

“Do you want to be made well?”

The man explained why he couldn't get into the pool.

But Jesus didn't argue with his excuses.

He simply said:

“Get up. Pick up your mat and walk.”

For the first time in 38 years, the man stood.

The same mat that once carried his weakness…

was now carried by him.

Your past may explain where you've been, but it doesn't have to determine where you're going.

THE BOY WHO FACED THE GIANT

Everyone saw a giant.

David saw an opportunity to trust God.

Goliath was taller, stronger, and more experienced.

The soldiers were terrified.

But David remembered something they had forgotten.

God had already helped him defeat danger in the wilderness.

So David stepped forward.

He didn't have a sword.

He didn't have armour that fit him.

He had a sling, five stones, and faith.

Goliath laughed.

David didn't.

He declared that the battle belonged to the Lord.

One stone flew.

The giant fell.

The people who had been hiding suddenly found courage.

Sometimes the size of your problem is designed to make you forget the size of your God.

THE WOMAN WHO WOULDN'T GIVE UP

Everyone told her, “God has forgotten you.”

For years, she prayed for a child.

Every month ended with disappointment.

One night, she sat alone and whispered, “Lord, I don't understand anymore.”

But she kept praying.

She remembered Hannah, who poured out her heart before God when nobody else understood her.

So she prayed again.

Not because she could see an answer…

but because she still believed God could hear her.

Months passed.

Then one morning, she discovered she was pregnant.

She cried not because she finally received what she wanted…

but because she realized something.

God had been listening even when heaven seemed silent.

A delayed answer is not necessarily an ignored prayer.

"THE NIGHT GOD TURNED EVERYTHING AROUND"

Joseph was betrayed by his brothers.

Sold into slavery.

Falsely accused.

Thrown into prison.

Years passed.

It looked like his dreams had died.

But one day, Pharaoh needed someone to interpret a dream.

Joseph was brought out of prison.

In one moment, his entire position changed.

The prisoner became a ruler.

Years of pain became part of a greater story.

Joseph later told his brothers that what they intended for evil, God used for good.

Your current chapter may be painful, but don't assume it is the final chapter.

THE SHEPHERD WHO LEFT THE NINETY-NINE

A shepherd had one hundred sheep.

One became lost.

He didn't say:

“I still have ninety-nine. Forget the one.”

He went looking.

He searched until he found it.

Then he carried it home rejoicing.

Jesus used this story to reveal God's concern for the lost.

You may feel forgotten, but God knows exactly where you are.
