Have you ever prayed for so long that you started wondering, “God, have You forgotten me?”

There was a man named Bartimaeus who was blind and sat by the roadside begging every day.

People passed him.

Some ignored him.

But one day, he heard that Jesus was passing by.

Bartimaeus shouted:

“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

People told him to keep quiet.

But he shouted even louder.

Then Jesus stopped.

Imagine that… Jesus stopped for the man everyone else had ignored.

Jesus asked him:

“What do you want Me to do for you?”

Bartimaeus answered, “Lord, I want to see.”

And Jesus restored his sight.

Don't let people's rejection silence your prayer.

"The Lantern and the Lake"

On a silent night, Maya and Ravi stood by a moonlit lake, each holding a small lantern. Maya’s lantern flickered, barely lighting her face, while Ravi’s glowed steadily.

Maya sighed, “Why does your light shine, but mine struggles?”
Ravi knelt by the water, dipping his lantern. “Sometimes, we must let go of our fear. Water won’t drown your flame if you believe in its purpose.”

Hesitant, Maya lowered her lantern to the surface. Instead of sputtering out, her light reflected across the water, multiplying until the whole lake shimmered with golden sparks.
