I HAVE A LIFETIME SUPPLY OF NETS

Yes, you heard that right. Lifetime supply of nets. You know how getting nets can be a huge challenge for PET recyclers.

You buy, they tear it, customer carries it, you carry customer's own. Then you buy again and the cycle repeats itself.

That's how we do it. The only problem, anytime you go to buy, it's more expensive than the last time or it's not even available.

In this my recycling sojourn, I stumbled on their supplier's supplier and I just bought 1500 pieces of nets.

As it is now, Net is no longer my problem. And as a business woman, I now sell nets. So if you want to buy nets, see you in my DM. I'm selling at ₦1,850 per piece. Whether 1, whether 1000. It's ₦1,850 flat

Hi guys, how's recycling going. I've been away from this space because of a new business I started.

Quick one, there's a guy that scammed people of some money saying he has wanted to "teach" them the business.

I've seen him engage on some of my posts. He has even sent me a message on my inbox before
Oga, REFUND PEOPLE'S MONEY

Someone shared a theory with me. He said PET prices have dropped both locally and internationally because crude oil prices have dropped.

So manufacturers are opting for virgin resin instead of recycled resin. Is it true? I don't know.

People who study the market beyond local #100/kg. The odogwus that know the matrix and rubrics of the business, biko help us out. Why the price dey fall na?

Me, I'm just a local aggregator, I don't know why the price is falling

Meanwhile, I want to sell one of my trucks. Come and buy. 15m. I naira no comot inside. Serious buyers only

Hi guys, now that PET price has reduced and some companies have taken a break, what are we doing differently to stay afloat. Please share your strategies so others can learn

Why is PET price jumping up and down. If it's not dollar affecting it, it's rain, if it's not rain, it's local price or one over sabi company buying like Elon Musk. If it's not that one, it's another thing.

You go just dey your own, them go give you order to supply at a particular price, you start buying and processing for your supplier. Before you know, your local suppliers will just ghost you because "that company dey buy well"

Now, I've been working nicely since o, minding my business, everywhere good. I've even started calculating my profit and buying cement for the skyscraper I want to build for my retirement.

Then just like that, supplier don call sey "international price of bale has dropped. No warning, nothing!

Me I'm tired o. Who knows another business I can do because what is this. Na so e be for Una side

Loop Holes That Can Cause Losses When Buying PET

1. Buying bottles immediately after it rains
Wet bottles are heavier, so you’re paying for water, not plastic.

2. Buying materials that are not PET
If you don’t sort well, you might carry PVC, PP or other plastics thinking it’s PET. Some may be worthless or even reduce the value of your PET

3. Buying with content still inside
If you don’t calculate that extra weight, you’re losing money. You're paying for things you’ll throw away.

4. Buying without checking for stones or hidden waste
Some sellers will hide stones, metal or dirt at the bottom of the sack. Shine your eye before you pay.

5. Not confirming the scale used
Some people will “adjust” the scale to add weight. Always use your own scale or confirm it’s correct.

6. Being in a hurry to close the deal
When you’re rushing, you miss the signs — wet sacks, mixed plastics, underweight loads. Always double check.

These loop holes should guide you to know what to look out for when buying PET
